    Has anyone tried DIY PPF?

I DIY PPF'd my entire Model 3 and I think it took about 4 days about 6 hours a day. It was over a 2 week period. It was my very first time and I used pre-cut film. The front bumper is by far the most complicated part. Rear hatch was pre-cut two piece so it was pretty easy. If you are...

    Tire Size Fitment

Ok sounds like +35 on 9.5 wide wheels and 265s won't cause the front wheels to poke out. Will give it a shot!

    Tire Size Fitment

Hello all, I have a Model Y LR and will be getting new wheels soon. The size is 20x9.5 +35. I'm wanting more sidewall protection and would like to move up to 265/40/20 size tires (not sure which brand and model yet). Was hoping to get some confirmation that this size fits and most important...

    Day 2 with my MYP- Titan 7 TS-5 20x9.5 +35mm

+35 on a 9.5 looks pretty good on a Performance. I'm wondering for a dual motor non-performance to achieve this look, it would need to be +40 on a 9.5, correct?

Vendor Official Signature Wheel Gallery and Fitment Q&A Thread

Are there any concerns dropping from stock 9.5 to 9 for a square setup on a Model Y? I'm looking for an offset in 9" that would work best (and interchangeable) for a Y and 3, both non-performance. Thanks.

Plastic ABS center console with fiber pattern vs Real Carbon Fiber

In my view it's worth the added cost. The carbon fiber look just doesn't look right and it's a clear imitation. Real carbon fiber has depth especially if you go with the glossy version. Worth the added cost in my opinion. I have the dash and center console in glossy carbon fiber.

Front Bumper PPF DIY - with or without sensor cutouts?

Do it without. Not having the cutouts do not impact the sensors and it's actually a much cleaner look.

Best aftermarket dash strip to replace OEM wood (with pics...hopefully)

In my view the best replacement for the dash strip is the RPM Tesla carbon fiber dash replacement, not the cap. It is a perfect fit since you swap out the dash piece, so no issues with exposed wood/white like with a cap. The piece really does look premium but does come at a premium cost. The...

    DIY Satin Matted PPF questions

There is no doubt DIY PPF is labor intensive, but certainly not impossible. If you are handy enough, it can be done. I purchased precut PPF from Servo PPF (Suntek Ultra) and installed full car coverage myself on a Model 3 without any prior experience, just a ton of YouTube video tutorials...

EV Mud Flaps for the Model Y

Looks good, but pretty expensive for what it is. The molded, OEM look, Model 3 mud flaps are around $30. I like that style more and will likely wait until one comes out. It's nice against the black trim!

Cheap DIY Paint Protection Film Project

I purchased my PPF from ServoPPF and they have been excellent. Suntek Ultra. So great I ordered full vehicle coverage for a Model Y. Hope to tackle this in the next few weeks.

What coverage do you get via Tesla Insurance?

From what I see, if you login to your account on the Tesla website and select purchase insurance, there will be a page that has the quote. There's an area near the bottom left where it shows a picture of your car and a link on the right that says "Edit Coverage". Clicking on the link takes you...

    Chrome Add

I purchased chrome look vinyl and will be wrapping the black trim. Some parts of the black trim is pretty easy to wrap, and I actually plan on removing the trim pieces for a cleaner looking wrap. There are some YouTube videos out there that helps explain how to remove the trim (I'll find them...

    Chrome Add

On dark color cars I like the contrast. For some reason the chrome delete looks better on the 3 than the Y for me. I'll be attempting to "chrome add" the trim for a Black Y for a nice contrast. I was a fan of the all black look, 10 years ago. Now I think some chrome on a car this size adds...

Tesla to fix rapidly dying 12v batteries with software update.

I had this issue on my vehicle last week. Mobile service came out and was done in less than 10 minutes. Fingers cross the issue doesn't reoccur.

    Lowering the Model 3

Great points. I haven't heard of complaints of the Eibachs so I will probably go this route.

    Lowering the Model 3

The eibachs are out of stock and I was considering Tsportline with their sale bringing the price it closer to the eibach but this issue and service does have me concerned about Tsportline. Hopefully they are able to help you with a solution.

    Lowering the Model 3

Hello all, Is the general consensus that a Stealth Performance should be using the AWD kit and not the performance? I'm considering the Eibachs. Thanks.

    Center Console: Shell vs. Wrap

I've tried and shell and vinyl and the shell is a much easier install. I'm looking for a matte carbon fiber shell (real carbon fiber not the printed pattern) WITHOUT the key card cutout but having a hard time finding someone who sells that. Everyone is selling the same version with the...

    Diy cernmic coating on PPF

I have DIY PPF on my Model 3 and will do the same for the Model Y when that gets delivered. If you are comfortable enough with DIY projects, ceramic coating is not too difficult, especially over PPF. There are lots of different brands and maybe stick to the brand your installer is using for...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

This looks great. How flush are your wheels with the front/rear fenders with this setup?

    Done PPF yourself

I did a DIY on my Model 3 for the front end and ended up doing it for the whole car. If you are some what handy it can be done, and like everyone said the bumper is the most challenging. I ordered from a vendor on eBay and asked them to cut the "pre-cut" film longer by 1cm around certain areas...

Group Buy Poll for Mono-Block Forged Alloy Wheels by Titan 7

Does anyone have photos of the 20" staggered setup on their car? I'm interested in this size but concerned the offset doesn't provide a flush (or close to flush) fitment. Thanks.

Group Buy Poll for Mono-Block Forged Alloy Wheels by Titan 7

I see that on Titan’s site they now offer a 20” staggered option: 20 x 8.5 +35mm 20 x 10 +40mm Ironically, that’s the same exact size that TSportline offers in the same design. Makes you wonder if Titan produced them for TSportline. I may go for the 20s if I decide to get new wheels.

    Model 3 spoiler copy

Has anyone been able to find an exact replica of the OEM Performance spoiler in glossy besides RPM? I’m checking out the sellers overseas but can’t figure out which ones are the same size/shape as the performance in glossy. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

What did you do to your Model 3 today

No the RFID does not work with the console, which is the same with the RPM Tesla console cover. I did confirm that when adding new keys, when it asks you to swipe on the console, it works if you swipe on the B pillar instead. The RFID is not a big deal to me since I use my phone 100% of the...

    Aftermarket Performance Style Spoiler?

Nice that it’s been tested for efficiency, but not my style spoiler. I think the OEM performance style is a more subtle look I’m after.

    Will I regret not getting a P3D-?

If you are having to think about whether it will be a regret, then take that out of the equation and get it. For 2k it really is a no brainer. Do you realize how much “tuners” would pay to take 1 second off their 0-60? I’m willing to bet it’s a lot more than 2k. Many will say you won’t use...

    Aftermarket Performance Style Spoiler?

Hello all, I'm in the market for a performance style spoiler in glossy carbon fiber. I'm looking for an option other than RPM Tesla since they have a significant wait time currently on this item. I've checked eBay and there seems to be a couple of options but I'm not sure on fit and finish...

Is Expel better than 3M PPF?

Full coverage meaning the entire car where there's paint. About 95% protected, which was front end, headlights, all doors, rockers, rear bumper and quarter panels, trunk, everything. It is a bit of overkill but I was concerned about people trying to key the car, and any potential accidental...

Is Expel better than 3M PPF?

I used Suntek Ultra PPF and have been happy with it. I purchased precut kits from ServoPPF and have been happy with their templates. It’s a challenging DIY project for some parts of the car like the bumpers, but full car coverage came out to about 2k. Much less than a detailed shop.

    P3D- is absolutely ridiculous!

If anyone is on the fence as to what to get, the P3D- represents an amazing value with this price adjustment The only item I cared for was the larger red brakes in the PUP package but didn’t justify the 5k upgrade. The P3D- is the ultimate sleeper and there is no way you would not get it if...

Has anyone DIY'd a PPF installation?

I have DIY the full car. First purchased a Suntek full front kit off of eBay just to experiment, it was about $600. I asked the seller (ServPPF) to cut the film so it was 1cm longer on the hood and fenders so I can wrap the edges. I started with the headlights just to see how the film needs...

Carbon Fiber Dash Replacement: RPM vs. TSportline

It’s my understanding that the Tsportline is a cap that is glued/3M to the existing dash panel. So this probably isn’t the route you want to go. I have the RPM full dash replacement in glossy carbon and it looks great. However, as the person above mentioned, you will need to return the core...

Vendor Tesla Model 3 Carbon Fiber Executive Trunk Wing Lip Spoiler

The spoiler looks really good. This looks like it’s the same style as the performance spoiler. How does it compare in terms or size, width, etc. to the performance version? Pretty comparable in size?
