Having ordered on Oct 10 from San Jose, and being given an ETA of Dec 27 as recently as two days ago, while others who ordered as little as a week ago across the other side of the country take deliveries, I suspect you may be placing too much emphasis on date ordered and not enough on distance...

You just convinced me to do the same. They had a stealth that was an exact match for me in pre-production. I guess the extra $2k will offset losing the FTC as they just told me my Oct 10 order wouldn’t be delivered till at least Dec 27, when we’re out of town. Now, fingers crossed...

Carnax lowballed me by $3K compared to both Tesla and other offers. Tesla was my best offer by $500 but now it’s not.

Nope on 10/10 San Jose order, (originally SR+, then changed to LR).

This whole “last two weeks of December” thing is kind of crazy. Those last two weeks (at least from the 21st on) are probably the most likely period in the year that customers can not pick up a car.
