Model X door no longer open fully automatically without USS (ultra-sonic sensors)?

So we're in agreement that the video linked to above with the fixed doors is fake?

Anybody else that hasn't gotten the prompt to upgrade to UWB for the phone key yet?

I got a prompt to "upgrade" my phone key here after updating to 2024.8.7. I did it, but it was still mentioning Bluetooth in the dialogue that appeared. Is there any way to see if it has been upgraded to UWB?

Anybody else that hasn't gotten the prompt to upgrade to UWB for the phone key yet?

We have a 2023 X (built some time early last year), and it's been updated to 2024.2.7, but I still haven't gotten the prompt for upgrading the phone key to UWB yet. The app on the phone (iPhone 15 Pro) is the latest version as well. Is it just me? Anybody else with the hardware required and the...

Yeah it only became standard in 2018. Before that you had buy the premium package to get it.

    2023 HW4 Model X Front Door Issues

I couldn't agree more. The new park assist using Vision gives me hope that we'll be able to get the old functionality back, but as of right now it honestly feels completely broken. I am absolutely confident that the motors in the doors will give in after a while due to the resistance they...

Model X price cuts- yet again

Even as someone that considers minimalism to feel more luxurious than maximalism (which often feels cheap to me), I struggle to see how the current interior of the Cybertruck can possibly feel more luxurious than the S and X. It looks very spartan, almost to the point of feeling cold and...

How well does phone key work compared to the old key fob?

So after getting our car in early May I'll share what our actual experience ending up being. So far it's been working almost perfectly. Both my wife and I use phone key exclusively, and I don't think I've even carried the key card since early June. The only times it hasn't worked perfectly it's...

New ‘23 Model X, long term Tesla owner. Some questions…

Both of ours feel like they're always fighting you opening them. Even if you wait till it's completely stopped and has stopped for a few seconds before you touch them and start pulling.

Is the 2023 Model X suspension just not refined?

I'm experiencing the same sounds with our 2023 X now. Can you detail a bit more what you did?

    Worst experience with squeak repair

What did you try, and did it work?

Model X door no longer open fully automatically without USS (ultra-sonic sensors)?

We had that issue with our previous X, but it was quickly fixed at the service center. But when that happened it was consistent and happened every time until we dropped it off at Tesla.

Model X door no longer open fully automatically without USS (ultra-sonic sensors)?

Honestly, I see where you might be coming from, but it really does feel broken. It's not "something you live with". And I'm fairly confident the door motors will be broken by the wear on them each time we have to force the door open.

New ‘23 Model X, long term Tesla owner. Some questions…

Both of these are related to Tesla removing the ultrasonic sensors and (planning to replace /) replacing them with software functionality based on camera input instead. The proximity alerts were just added a few months ago, so hopefully that should improve rather quickly. The doors are still...

    Mud flaps

Happy to hear it's not just me. We took delivery of our new X a little over a month ago, and they installed the Tesla mud flaps before we got it. Every speed bump in our neighborhood it touches, even if we drive slowly. I was looking at the car yesterday wondering if there was something wrong...

    What a refreshing difference

We have the same exact experience here. Going from a 2016 75 X to a 2023 LR+ X is just a ludicrous difference when it comes to range and charging speeds.
