New Tesla Cord Wrangler Design (and colors)

Yep, there are several. One day everyone will have one. And by "one" I mean and Tesla *and* a 3D printer!

In case you wanted to go into the sausage factory... (old version; three parts; stop-motion; took about 6.5 hours!) tesla_plug_group.mpg (new version with integrated hook; real-time; prints in under 2 hours) Dropbox - black_um3_printing.mp4 -David

Tesla should have been giving them away from day one.

Seems to do well just with drywall anchors (included). I've been tweaking the design (setting the holes up to allow more of the screw to protrude through the part). Here are some pictures. White and green don't appear (temporarily out; waiting on filament from Amazon...).

Drilling into concrete would be straightforward, but you'd have to secure those parts at your local hardware store. Should you get our kit, just take the mounting screws that come with it to the hardware store and look for masonry anchors that'll fit with them.

The lump is the UMC. We'll have a holder for that, too, shortly! In our garage our 240V outlet sits fairly high off the ground, so we've never had to worry about the lump hitting the floor. It just dangles. ;)

How would it be awkward? The part made by Tesla is excellent, and stylish. We're not competing with them. We simply have a craft-version of something that performs a similar role but can be ordered in different colors and never runs out of stock.

A little over a year ago, when my wife got her Model X, I set out to help manage the dangling charging cord in our garage. I created a kit of three parts that I 3D printed that helped hold the charging cord and plug. I figured other Tesla owners would find them useful so I placed the items for...

Or have them demo their car without a finished interior (which I presume is what FF did). Dropping a few hundred pounds might give Tesla the delta in time.

    It was truly awful.

    Faraday Future Live Event

Apparently that's all that's happening. Construction seems to have halted. That's no way to move forward and no way to reach a competitive state with Tesla or anyone else. We've seen how hard it is to get from 0 to thousands of cars per month. Faraday Futures seems more intent on boasting that...

Charging cable wrangler (item for sale)

I'm using a design by Gizmotoy that seems to holds ours just fine. It has never dropped out.

Charging Set up in Garage Without the Wall Connector

I'm making three parts available on Etsy for cable management. If you have a 3D printer you can acquire the models on Thingyverse and print them yourself. Otherwise, I'm happy to do it. Tesla Cord Wrangler Kit by Eclectic3DThings http://etsy.me/2ci9FA9
