How many days before pick up / delivery of new car do you get the registration number and V5 number? I don't want to bother Tesla everyday but picking mine up next Friday 26th June but want the registration number to sort insurance as well as starting to transfer my new private plate I have...

The ship must be dropping it off their earlier though, as I have delivery date to pick my car up from the UK in Birmingham on Friday 26th June too :) ....

Thanks :) I have received my entitlement V750 for my private plates and it is in my personal name as I purchased it and then it states the company is a nominee so I see now yes I can get this put on so happy with that :) Thanks again.

Aha wow, I did a price comparison site and got on money supermarket from admiral quote for £629 pa with 3 years no claims. With Direct Line was £710 pa. Many Thanks

On price comparison sites you don't need the registration number, you just put in the car details. Can I ask what you got quoted on Direct Line?

...just sorting out insurance as only 23 days away and they say best time to look for insurance for best price is around 21 days prior to policy start date.
