Is it over? YouTube video says EVs are DONE.

Good point on rebates going away. Here in Canada, the federal and provincial rebates are one time use only (ie. lifetime of the rebate program). So whoever that bought one no longer get the rebate anymore. Secondly I think we are down to only 2 provinces that still offer tiered-based rebates...

Is it over? YouTube video says EVs are DONE.

Thanks to the power of Likes and Social Media, everyone can be a "journalist". Where one's credibility is earned by number of thumbs up and subscribers. I do not know if EVs are done. I do know based on sales trend, it rate of adoption has slowed. But that's down to a number of factors like...

Model 3 Highland (Canada) Waiting room

Current rebate model means Model Y LR and Performance being cheaper than M3 equivalents. I'm annoyed that the Canada's rebate threshold is so much lower for sedans vs. SUV. I guess the government wants us to drive big honking vehicles.

    .99% APR Financing Promotion (May 10 - May 31 2024)

Exactly. Why do people seem to forget this? The House always wins when you keep on playing.

My 2024 Quicksilver Model Y is here

You should nickname that Miata the Cone-Chomper if you are into AutoX. Or Boredom Devourer.

My 2024 Quicksilver Model Y is here

Wow. QS is my favourite colour! Dayummmmmm! Big fan of the ND2/3 Miata. Not sure about the teeth.

Stalk or no stalk argument [not] settled

There are some positives with this new setup. I particularly like the Camera button. I don't have to use the centre screen for it. Wiper button was intuitive for me. I haven't tried the Autopilot button and the one with the 4 arrows.

Stalk or no stalk argument [not] settled

I didn't mind the turn signals on the steering wheel. Got used to it pretty quickly. Admittedly, it will be a challenge in small roundabouts. The area that I find it clunky with selecting PRND is with the screen. Feels slower in say 3-point turn maneuvers. My brain is not set up to pointing the...

    Financing Tesla vehicles in Canada

As of the time of my post, there are: I think the inventory is all of Canada as it doesn't change switching provinces unlike US states. Is that considered over inventory or not? 🤷‍♂️

Nice. That's the difference over Fremont! Positive Giga Shanghai quality continues.

Model 3 Highland (Canada) Waiting room

Looks good. Can you check if the front door hinges area(by the A pillar) are painted? The Model Y's aren't. Overspray is most. You can still see the white primer.

Model 3 Highland (Canada) Waiting room

Speaking of rebates, the current format here in Canuck land results with the Model Y cheaper than the Model 3 for LR and Performance versions. Guess Canadian govs. prefer its citizens to drive SUVs than sensible sedans. 😆

Help me decide Model Y performance or Model 3 performance

The Y with its current rebates and financing rates is quite possibly the cheapest Tesla now. Crazy! If you are ok with the possibility of Juniper Y upgrade in relation to current outgoing Y. A model 3 cannot compete in space criteria anymore than a 3-series to an X3 or a 911 to a Cayenne...

    Western Canada Superchargers

Curious to know how much mileage lost towing that camper? We did that whole Banff/Japer/Yoho road trip back in 2020. Due to Covid closures, these places were devoid of international tourists. What a wonderful experience. Don't mind doing it again.
