I think it's not the amount of volume so much as the trunk opening that results in ease of placing large items. It is also more ergonomic as the trunk floor is higher. It's just how it is. Sedan vs Hatchback format differences.

2021 & 2022 were weird years for car values. This applies to ICE too. Used EV values would have rebates "savings" baked in. After all it makes zero sense to buy used when it is the same price as a post-rebate new EV.

That's known as iterative development. Pretty common place in tech sectors. Agile lean delivery is adopted by main stream orgs for nimbleness through iterative improvements. Not so great for those who expect perfection at the start. However it is great for end users towards the end of the dev cycle.

Tesla Canada dropped 3k for its M3H across the board. It was about the same price as the MY. Now that there the gap is larger, M3H begins to nudge into our radar. There are some nice new improvements there.
