That is what the first Tesla person told me it was. I have since talked with the tesla service person assigned to my car, and he said that after technicians had a look, that it is "failed rear drive INVERTER", and not motor as the first Tesla person had told me via phone.

I got my VIN on the beginning day of my 7th EDD, and I too was expecting a push back. You might get it today. Fingers crossed for you!

Mine changed about 4 times in the final week before I got the VIN. And I got the VIN and took delivery the same day. Many changes without a huge shift in date range is goooood :)
