    Duplicate day-of-reveal orders

I had the same problem. Only one duplicate for me. The first reservation was RWD and no FSD. The email to order came in on the 8th. Same Founders options as everyone else. The duplicate reservation was for dual motor and FSD. No invite for that one yet. I ordered an AWD on the 9th. We shall...

    Supercharger - Natalia, TX

Stopped by this location on Sunday. The truck stop itself is still under construction. The building shell is up, but no pavement yet. It’s a big place. The sign is up with the Valero gas brand and two eateries on it. No signs of a supercharger, but still too early.

    Supercharger - Dilley, TX

I stopped by the Taco Palenque on Thanksgiving and the HPWC is still mounted on the wall, but I didn’t try to charge. Looks like it is still in good shape.

Does anyone with AP1 (or pre-AP1) have got any 2019 software updates?

I have a 2013 S without the tech package. Just upgraded from 2018.50.6 directly to 2019.12.1.1 Dog mode, new Atari games, Software tab in settings, and multi language support. Browser is now rendering pages that didn’t work before. It also says I have on-route battery warmup which is weird...

    Tesla Wifi Sux

Yes, you understand what's going on. I tested a second AP also with the same results. It is funny that the Tesla has DLNA and UPnP enabled in the first place. It is probably on by default in the Embedded Linux that they use and Tesla doesn't even know it. I am going to share my network...

    Tesla Wifi Sux

When your car connects to your wireless network it looks for multimedia devices like blu-ray players and streaming TV boxes using DNLA. Some devices confuse the Tesla causing the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth radios to reset. When the car connects again the cycle repeats. Isolate your car from your...

Firmware 6.2 - Navigation for non tech package?

You're correct. There are cars with premium sound, but no tech package. The MCU in cars with premium sound just happens to be Nav-ready even in cars without the Tech package. Only a software install is needed to enable Nav on these cars. Cars with standard sound, however, don't come with a...

Firmware 6.2 - Navigation for non tech package?

Yes. My service center sent me a quote in September and I followed up in person today. My advisor is confirming with HQ to make sure the offer is still valid.

    Audio: Sound System Quality?

I have standard audio with the Reus upgrade. V6.2 made a noticeable improvement in audio quality for me. I was listening to the same USB drive in a new (Nov 2014) loaner with upgraded audio that was still on v6.1 before picking up my car. Wow!

Firmware 6.2 - Navigation for non tech package?

V6.2 (2.4.124) arrived on my non-tech standard audio car today. I am VIN P039xx. Features we get include: Range Assurance, Valet Mode, Improved Search Results in Maps, and Faster Instrument Cluster Wakeup Time from Energy Saving Mode. There was no mention of the new audio codec in the...
