Martian Wheels MW03 - New discussion thread

I've definitely had the same problem for the past two weeks. Really wish someone at martian would answer their phone/email. I'm looking for winter wheel set with the most range and I'm debating between EVO1+ wheels which only come in stock size, so 18/8.5 wheels with their aero covers vs the...

most range efficient wheels for M3P

Sorry to post this twice, but this is likely a better thread for what I am asking ---- At this point, I think I'm debating the EVO1+ wheels (18/8.5 size) vs the martian 18/7.5 wheels for the winter tire set on my M3P The EVO1+ wheels with their aero covers would give more range than other non...

List of 18" wheels for P3D+

thanks. at this point, I think I'm debating the EVO1+ wheels (18/8.5 size) vs the martian 18/7.5 wheels for the winter tire set on my M3P The EVO1+ wheels with their aero covers would give more range than other 18in wheels, due to the covers, however the EVO1+ wheels seem to come in only one...

most range efficient wheels for M3P

interesting. Do you know if they were comparing them to factory aero wheels or just to their own 18in wheels? I assume they provide more range than 20 in wheels that came with my M3P

Winter driving advice, winter tire choices, etc.

then why are there videos from martian and the like, that demonstrate increased range with lighter/smaller wheels?

List of 18" wheels for P3D+

From what I've read, that does make sense. I did find the weights of the specific martian wheels and apples to apples they are 3lbs less per wheel that the EVO(+) without covers and 3.5lbs less than EVO1+ with the covers, so a savings of 14lbs of unsprung weight compared to the EVO1+. However...

List of 18" wheels for P3D+

Has anyone compared the efficiency of the 18in Martian wheels to the 18in EVO1(+) wheels? The Evo have the built in aero covers but the martians are a touch lighter. I'd like to put a winter set on my M3P of whichever brand saves more range, but hard to find a direct comparison anywhere

How to maximize winter range on icy roads

A better way to simply my question is just this--------- I run a M3P in an area that gets lots of ice and is often very cold which affects my range, and my battery is close to zero on one particular drive I do twice a month during the winter. I'd like to purchase an 18inch winter wheel set...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Guys, I run a M3P in an area that gets lots of ice and is often very cold which affects my range, and my battery is close to zero on one particular drive I do twice a month during the winter. I'd like to purchase an 18inch winter wheel set that will fit the brakes of an M3P, but is light, and...
