Not sure if it defers from state to state but I am giving 2 cheques at delivery- 1 from DCU and another cashiers Cheque from me as a down payment. I confirmed the same with Tesla as well

Question for the folks nearing delivery - When should the insurance be effective from? I am yet to schedule delivery and waiting on the delivery scheduling text. Should I wait to get insurance until my delivery date is fixed?

Do I get an updated MVPA once I change the cash to financing? Since my delivery date is Mar 4- Mar 8, should I apply for financing now or wait a few days

Got a VIN today! 18XXX. EDD Mar 4 - Mar 8. Pickup: Cincinnati, OH. I'll ask tomorrow about the vehicle details(ryzen, battery etc.). Another 2 weeks without a car but relieved I can see the end of the road (provided no issues at delivery :p)

Mine used to say "we are building your car". But from today it started showing "check back later". way to go to make it more ambiguous Elon!

I have not seen much action on this forum in terms of VINs for the past couple of days. Although I think many have seen changes to EDD. It makes me wonder whether TESLA is getting ready to manufacture cars to deliver in the EOQ for North Americas. This will validate that the within country...
