    Dual screen with ipad

Saw this, thank you. I tested this viewing angle with an iPad mini and it's difficult to see/use.

    Dual screen with ipad

The iPad isn't hard mounted. It's held by magnets. So the intent is to remove the iPad when not in the car.

    Dual screen with ipad

Just wanted to share my latest project. I bought these laptop cell phone mounts off of Amazon ($9 ea) and mounted them to the back of my screen. They fold/swivel down for use and fold/swivel up to store. They came with the metal circular pads to go on the iPad.

    Dirt between door/seat jamb!

I have the same kit. Wind noise slightly reduced. The dirt surprisingly is not. The seals around the door don't stop the dirt sadly.

Wide angle anti-glare side mirror glass

Just received my side view wide angle mirrors from hanshow and they were the wrong ones. They sent me model 3 mirrors which are not the same size. Very disappointed. No response from the company just yet, they could be on the back side of the clock sleeping.

Tips for garage door opener (not homelink)

Not visible at all. Fyi I have the myQ app and device installed at home. I don't want to open the app to open the garage door. I'd rather just hit a physical button.

Not at all. The door clears it with 1/4 inch space.

    Help: armrest teardown

For the sake of someone searching for garage door opener armrest mod, this post serves to finish the thread. Nothing worse than looking for something and finding what you need that turns up incomplete. The armrest is very difficult to pry apart, a friend popped his off and it was not easy. He...

Pro tip - Nose reduction kit - rpmtesla

I'm sad to report that road dust is still making it inside the noise reduction weather stripping. It's not much but it's some. I'm fairly certain I installed it correctly.

Tips for garage door opener (not homelink)

See my post Help: armrest teardown Still haven't cracked into the armrest yet, don't want to do damage.

    Help: armrest teardown

Not necessarily. If someone can teach me how to 'pop' the arm rest up without damaging it, the rest is super easy. I'll post pictures once I'm done. Guarantee others will like saving $300 and doing a simple mod like me. Trust me, I'd prefer the $300 deal but can't swallow the cost on principal...

    Help: armrest teardown

Gameplan is to install a garage door opener in the arm rest. I'm taking a universal garage door opener, soldered a toggle switch to it and want to put it inside the arm rest. The button will be hidden to the left of the armrest release button so I can hit it when my arm rests on the armrest...

Pro tip - Nose reduction kit - rpmtesla

There are other kits out there. Just look at Amazon for model 3 noise reduction kits, you might find one that doubles as compatible with model y. Also, for the previous comment, I looked at the weep holes under the doors and my weather stripping doors cover them a tad. Still functional.

Pro tip - Nose reduction kit - rpmtesla

Might be placebo effect but to me, it's noticable. Less wind, cabin sounds quieter and doors close with a nice 'funk' sound.
