You open the frunk and pop off the plastic cover above the frunk. It's just held on with clips. You'll be able to see the battery in plain sight and "li-ion" will be printed on it. It will also look different and smaller than a typical car battery.

So it does seem yours is slightly higher than the average. Really sorry to hear about all of the issues you're dealing with and I hope they get resolved smoothly...

Wanted to update on this. Despite my SA insisting that my car had lead-acid, it came with li-ion. In case it wasn't obvious from the slew of Ryzen deliveries, if you get Ryzen you get li-ion, even if your sub-par SA insists otherwise 😅 On that note, took delivery of my white/white yesterday and...

@tm1v2 Here is an actual measurement. Seems to be very similar to the photo @lUtriaNt posted a week or two ago, and also similar to the M3Ps in the video linked earlier in the thread. It’s actually lower than one of the 2021’s he measured.

How do you know, did you measure? The 2021s did not sit low, even compared to LR and SR from the same model year, as shown in the video linked earlier in this thread.

Yeah it seems you’re right. And yeah going through YouTube videos, none of the M3Ps appear as low as they advertise lol. Which video? I watch this thread closely so idk how I missed it.

I’m 90% sure the Performance is the same height and they lowered the other models. Interesting.

Who did you contact to get the window sticker emailed? Is you car already at the delivery location?

Trust me when I say it’s not worth initiating a discussion with that guy. The mental gymnastics he’ll perform to arrive at his incorrect conclusions are unparalleled. Nothing you say will get through to him.
