    Crack Front Roof

I'd say try emailing your preferred service center these photos first. If that fails, I'd try another service center. As a last resort, try escalating it from within your myTesla page. I had a similar problem on my car (<20k vin) which was covered by Tesla under warranty (link). Your camera...

Dirty Cameras - disabled NoA and Blind Spot Detection

Thanks for the clarification. No, looks like my error is slightly different. On 8.5, I've experienced 3 instances thus far where I'm unable to engage EAP (no steering wheel icon) when I'm not on EAP (I've never had EAP disengage automatically). The front radar section (area below the nose cone)...

Dirty Cameras - disabled NoA and Blind Spot Detection

OP - What firmware are you on? I'm wondering if it's a milder form of what I am experiencing (maybe not). I'm on 2019.8.5 (and have been for the last 2 weeks) and over the last couple of days, have received three "cruise not available" errors on screen. Error is intermittent and disappears even...

Electrician reference - Atlanta/greater Atlanta area

Can’t speak to the no-permit, as that’s personal preference if not jurisdictional mandate. Plus you can always apply for a permit with the city yourself. But I’ve had zero issues with my NEMA 14-50 since the time Marco installed it for me in Apr 2018.

Parking lot damage/dent, seeking body shop experiences in Atlanta

$6-7k - wow! If I may ask, did it entail a lot of back and forth between the Tesla certified body shop and the insurance provider, and did you have the full expense covered, or have to pay some differential out of pocket? My insurer (State Farm) quoted $1800 for repairs so they are nowhere near...

Parking lot damage/dent, seeking body shop experiences in Atlanta

Thanks for sharing this. My experience has been similar. Steve at ECR told me flat out they will likely be $600-$1000 over what he thinks State Farm will cover (basing on prior experience). He thinks I may need to pay that myself. He also estimated 3-4 weeks for such a repair (total time my...

Parking lot damage/dent, seeking body shop experiences in Atlanta

Tesla finally got back to me saying they won’t do it in house because of the damage to the rear quarter panel (metal). I suppose they can only fix bumper related (minor) blemishes in their body shop. Awaiting responses from a couple of third party body shops recommended by folks here (thanks!)...

Parking lot damage/dent, seeking body shop experiences in Atlanta

@Cowby, I see a few: Tesla Club of Atlanta, and Tesla Motors Fans - Atlanta with 10x members. Does either contain more specific info on the topic than the other? Thanks. @SR22pilot - Waiting on the Tesla Marietta SC to get back to me. I expected to be forwarded to Classic Collision. Hoping they...

Parking lot damage/dent, seeking body shop experiences in Atlanta

Hi folks, A sad day for me. I’d parked my car at a covered lot at my workplace and someone either drove or backed into my car while parked (and also left no note!). I just noticed it before I started for home and needless to say was distraught. Attached are a few pictures of the damage. For...

Car maker cheats on emissions, car maker pays the price, people still single out Tesla

Are Electric Cars Only for the Rich? Sacramento Is Challenging That Notion To be totally fair, I see some of the points made in the article (and fully support its broader inclusive spirit). However, my point is that Tesla is not the only one making cars at the said price points, considering...

Tesla Not Charging For Supercharging, Even Though They Should?

Yep, I charged twice in Oct (totaling about $10), and my CC hasn't yet been charged.

    New EAP Trial Stuck Forever

No really, but the trick is probably in the timing. I'd called the service line on a Friday at 10:30 pm (ET) immediately after seeing the error message in the car (note: all seemed well per the app, except the firmware version hadn't updated!). It warned me of a 50 min wait time. So I gave up...

    New EAP Trial Stuck Forever

If this is feasible, I'd check for symptoms of a partial software download/install (e.g., a large but <250MB data download in the days leading up to your s/w update notice). When my notice for 42.4 came (I was on 42.2), only half the update had downloaded and I had a "Software update required...

Part of my left side headlight is out.

Same as above. My car (19xxx VIN) had its glass roof replaced two weeks ago. I had shared pictures of the signature strip as I knew a service visit was on cards. The service advisor brought the service tech for his expert's opinion as the former couldn't see it in bright day light. The service...

    Iphone Apps

Yes. No. I rarely fiddle with my phone and the Tesla app nowadays to get pre-cooling going. I have a complication on the watch face for single click access. I've had zero phantom drain just from installing Remote S. I accepted the app's default of 5 second info updates so it wakes the car...
