    AC issues

Took mine in for service two days ago, the AC was cycling on and off. This only happened after I was at a Supercharger which was ramping up and down quickly (not sure if related), they will have the car a third day tomorrow for diagnostics.

Thinking to Add more Solar to Offset Charging but...

I was in that odd spot where I generated about 85-90% of my annual consumption but over 60% of my net consumption was at night for EV charging and our pool pump. So the relative shift in prices benefited me with a 59% cut in the night rate. If on the other hand, your night usage is very low...

Thinking to Add more Solar to Offset Charging but...

Well thanks to EVTOU5, we likely won't have an electric bill going forward. We have a Model S and and a Model 3. Annual mileage about 30,000. Annual power use is 11,800 kWh at Super off peak which includes a pool pump. Our annual solar production gives us about 9,000 kWh overproduction...

Supercharger - San Diego CA - A Street (LIVE 27 Jun 2018, 16 Urban type)

Nate Anderson, Tesla’s regional manager for charging infrastructure in California and Hawaii, said the company will open 10 more stations with about 150 stalls in the greater San Diego area in the next year. “So you’ll see us in Carlsbad, Del Mar, Escondido, Vista and many, many (other places)...

Supercharger - San Diego CA - A Street (LIVE 27 Jun 2018, 16 Urban type)

For those who want to know how the Parking Palace was reviewed on yelp pre-Supercharger, I found this review to be quite helpful: By Lucius B. I've traveled the world and visited amazing landmarks and castles with beautiful architecture and halls - but none hold a candle to the Parking Palace...

Powerwall Arbitrage DEAD: San Diego's SDGE

I'm putting on more panels next month. My installer is a little backed up, but my bill with a Model S+a Model 3, 4000 sf/house with pool, should be less than $30/month after all is said and done. Still this is a touch of an odyssey. With SDG&E/PUC moving the peak rates, I have to have more...

Tesla Buyback for your Model S?

Hi, I was fortunate to buy in an EV-CPO Model S 75 June '17. I think that was a pricing anomaly. I never thought I would see a vehicle "appreciate" after purchase, but that's the only conclusion I can come to. I think the imminent release of the Model 3 may have temporarily depressed demand...

    APR for Financing Model 3

Don't know if they are the best, but from all the rates I shopped, the 1.75% for 48 months was best with 90 days deferred. If you need longer term, shopping may be in order.

    Model 3 without Ap

Thanks swaltner, your points are well taken. The settings were for a medium distance, but as swaltner points, out it likely doesn't matter. All the same, the Model 3 really should have TACC/ACC as a base feature. The Honda Accord I bought in Feb 2013 has it and it wasn't a $5K add on. Of...

Rear/ Side mirrors auto-dimming in Model S, and my attempt to disable it

My wife is having this issue with our Model 3. I don't mind but it is too dark for her to drive at night.

    Model 3 without Ap

The regular old cruise control comes with the Model 3. It's a little scary after having AP on the 75 Model S. Even my 5 year old Honda Accord PHEV came with adaptive cruise control (bought in 2013) for 10K less than I paid for the Model 3. So please Tesla, ACC is a safety feature and should...

    Mirror Dimming Issue

Basically my wife won't drive the car at night now as she doesn't feel safe. If any Tesla people are reading this, please work on a fix. We are going in for service next Friday so we'll see what they say but as it will be in the daytime, it may be difficult to recreate the dimming. Otherwise...

    Mirror Dimming Issue

My wife drove the car for the first day and this is the only real issue we have. Not sure how to turn off the dimming. Can anyone take a picture of the menu and post please?
