Shortly after adopting my Model 3, I started hearing a squeaking sound. It seemed to be coming from the dash or center console, but I couldn't pin it down or reproduce it on cue. Just whenever driving it would appear for a while and then go away for a while, though it was worse on bumpy roads...

I had a similar problem. It sounded like it was coming from dash or console and was mysteriously worse when I turned the car to the right. The SC looked into it and found that the posts attaching the seat to the floor were slightly off center and so were rubbing against the metal of the holes...

I love white, best decision I made with the car; gives me a thrill every damn time I look at it or get inside. Also, I just posted this in another thread: I recommend getting white decals for the door-release buttons. I got mine here from Abstract Ocean. Make sure you change the color selection...

Commasign is right. Hitting the button makes the car FIRST lower the windows, THEN trigger the door latch. Whereas the emergency release immediately triggers the door latch manually. So now the car doesn't have the split second it usually gives itself to lower the windows first. It still tries...

The white strip is not the simulated leather, fyi. It's a smooth white aluminum. Possibly anodized, maybe painted. But it is metal, cool to the touch. I would have preferred a strip of the fake leather, as that's what's in the accent area of the doors and it looks & feels fabulous there. But...
