    Supercharger - Federal Way, WA

Just finished charging here and I too capped out at ~150 kW / V2 rates before tapering down. I give it a week or two before they let it rip.

Rear Passenger Audio Experience (is Poor)

Yes and that exacerbates the issue for my rear passengers.

Rear Passenger Audio Experience (is Poor)

TL;DR: Sitting in the back sucks if you like listening to full-sounding music, sitting in the front is only slightly better. Service Center and Mobile Service won't/can't resolve it, seems to be a fundamental design/engineering area of opportunity. Hi TMC, I've been fighting this issue for as...

How far does your front door open when pressing door button?

Anecdotally, my front doors always pop out ~1" or so, enough to tell a first-timer that the door is open. My rear doors, however, don't do this. They just unlatch and if the passenger exiting doesn't apply force to the door at this moment, the door would relatch and the button would have to be...

    GAP Coverage

Interesting situation you have there. Yes, my loan documentation is explicit about this benefit, which I've copied below:

1 year ownership - "Air" noise perspectives

Anecdotally, I'd say the same for my September 2018 car. The seals may have gotten softer through the Winter/Spring season and the car is actually a bit quieter over the rumble-strip that is I-5 in Seattle...

    Model 3 paint wearing off

I can confirm that the rocker panels near the rear wheels on both sides of my car are 100% road rashed. No offroading, no gravel, and it still looks peppered. Dr. ColorChip makes a road rash kit for most/all of Tesla's paint codes and is ~$70 USD delivered... I may entertain this since I feel...

Paint correction and ceramic coating on Metallic Silver. Worth it?

Paint correction, polish, and ceramic coat makes exterior maintenance washes SO easy, the car loves to be clean. I would totally miss my graphics card though...

    Paint Experts Please Chime In

You'll have to even it out before you use touch up paint, but I can confirm that the OEM touch up paint on the Tesla Shop is insanely good stuff, I've used it quite a bit and it's pretty much liquid magic in a bottle.

    Horrendous brake feel

After driving my dad's GT350, I can tell you all right now that the brakes in the Model 3 come nowhere close to the massive Brembos on that thing. However, the brakes on my car are nice and stop the car quickly, but I agree that something about the feel (bite, short pedal travel, etc.) is lacking.

Reducing noise and keeping the door sills clean

I completed the seals on just the passenger side front and back doors and to my dismay, it actually increased the road noise entering the cabin. It turns out that not only does it make the doors slightly harder to close, the seals are causing the door to not shut as tightly as it did, causing...

Turning Steering Wheel while not moving noise.

Since regen braking takes care of 90% of the braking in the Model 3, the brake pads don't see much wear at all. Due to this, the pads develop surface rust, especially if you experience a lot of rain and/or humidity in your region. The brake rotors are also rotating slightly when you turn the...

Tesla Model 3 Announcement: $35k Model 3 Available, some price changes

Mountain Pass Performance Coilovers for RWD M3

That's as perfect of a fit as you could ask for. Did you have your alignment shop adjust toe/camber? What wheels/tires are those? Also, could you detail what you meant by "firm but soft?" I'm seriously torn between Sport and Comfort, especially since the price difference is non-trivial.

Tesla to be make big announcement Thursday 2PM Pacific Time

Here's an analysis I saw: 1. The last animal-themed tweetstorm was about LeMR, and since the elephant in the room is Model 3 Standard Range, all bets are on that. 2. Bonus points for HW3 and Supercharger v3/Megacharger.
