Was at the site last Monday. Still plastic over the charging stations and the backs have not been enclose -- you can look through the plastic and see the wiring. Still a little ways to go.

Saturday morning the 10th. Looks like some progress. Impressed the crew was working on a very wet Sat AM! Hopefully ready for my next trip to Atlanta for Thanksgiving and I can leave the ICE at home.

This is great. Please keep us up to date on any progress. Trip planned for late October but that's too optimistic.

It's tempting to say the Greenville problem is part of some major corporate issue, but actually the SC openings in US have continued at a fairly constant pace for the last 18 months(see:supercharge.info) China is slower, Europe accelerating. The problem seems local to Greenville and not sure why...

So true. Lots of us sitting on the sidelines, checking the thread, waiting for something to happen. Wouldn't it be nice if Tesla could provide some information? Doesn't seem like much to ask in light of the start/stop history of this supercharger.

Greenville should still be the sight. See the LENGTHY Greenville Supercharger thread. Was half built before being shut down by legal action. Apparently no construction sighted in Greenville yet and no word from Tesla.

Thanks, cmorn. Commerce GA is a good suggestion as I see the level 2 chargers are in the Tanger Mall parking lot. I'll be making the trip in about 2-3 weeks. I'll PM you if i need that quick HPWC charge.

Thanks to cmorn, JM_ATL and techmaven for this info. I'm sure there are a lot of us watching this thread as the Greenville supercharger is crucial in this corridor. My S85 comes in 2 weeks, but still no easy way to get from Virginia to Atlanta. It looks like the Charlotte SC is not close and...

Cost is very much related to distance from breakers since wire is a major cost and then the labor of getting through walls, floors. I had about 50' of #4 copper wire for 100 Amp service, coming across a basement ceiling and up through a concrete floor. 6 hrs of labor. $725 done by electrician.

I have to agree completely with windward that the lack of info from Tesla on the Greenville SC is distressing. It really IS NOT too much to ask for an update on the planned chargers across the country, especially when they are close to construction or coming on-line. The vagaries of the...
