    Supercharger team sacked?

The only logical explanation is that Tesla has copied Toyota's technology, and is going to start making self-charging cars. ;)

Wiki UK and Ireland Supercharger Site News

Looks like it is Cribbs, not Lysander Rd. I wish Tesla would price the SCs for non-Tesla the same as other operators. at £0.39/kWh its half the price so is far more attractive to use, leading to more blocking, potential damage to cables etc.

    [UK] 2024.8.x

To be fair, it is for temporary roadworks over the brow of a hill, so traffic may be slowing in front unsighted as you crest the hill. So, a useful sign, but as you say, it needs understanding and interpretation of the text.

    Cabin air filter replacement (RHD)

I have a late 2020 LR (US-built facelift) UK RHD and I tried to replace the cabin filters at the weekend, but the cover seems to be different to the RHD guides on youtube. The access screw is at the bottom of the cover, the tab at the top, and the foot rest prevents me from getting a...

    [UK] 2024.8.x

On my regular route there is one of these signs which is immediately recognised by the car as a 50 limit at the sign. Stuff like this needs to be handled correctly if FSD is to be launched in the UK. Filter (arrow) traffic lights also confuse the cameras, but I thought these were common in the US?

What were you driving at the start of the '10s.....

Subaru Impreza WRX (with PPP) ... that should validate my petrol-head credentials :). My second Impreza and one that I kept for 8 years and put 136,000 miles on. I followed it up with a Mazda 6MPS which someone mentioned earlier in this thread.

    Model 3 Highland Performance

US price (converted) is £42,500 before any tax credits. Why is the UK paying so much more when they are probably made in China or Germany?

    Model 3 Highland Performance

Maybe there will be an optional boost upgrade. The range seems to be significantly less than the LR - 62 miles * WLTP

    Referral Rewards Ending

Damn... I never did persuade anyone to pay for my acceleration boost, I guess I'll just have to put it on the credit card now 😢

    [UK] 2024.8.x

I had my first proper test yesterday and was impressed as there was a definite V shape in the light pattern with a darker patch in the direction of cars I'm following, and oncoming cars. One thing I considered though would be oncoming cyclists - do the lights react to them or are they going to...

The quest for the ultimate efficiency.

It would be interesting to know what the efficiency would be using the super-skinny BMW I3 tires

    [UK] 2024.8.x

I got the prompt to download 2024.8.7 first thing this morning, so kicked it off but now it seems to be stuck on 8%. Can anyone help?

    2024 Insurance Costs

If the car is written-off the insurance company will decide the value. You can get gap insurance to cover the difference, but don't get this from a dealer as they add commission. An independent gap insurance provider will be cheaper.
