Wiki Everything you wanted to know about Intelligent Octopus But Were Afraid To Ask

morning, very quick question. Is octopus the only utility to offer a EV tariff? Only reason i ask is that i'm moving back to the UK from the US in May having been over here for 4 years - when I left NPower existed - i believe they no longer exist.

    [UK] Price cuts

nope tesla loan (which i can easily drop off of with an email to tesla - done previously). just messaged them back asking why and explaining that i could just cancel the order and start again

    [UK] Price cuts

thats exactly what I thought seems a bit bizarre. If it was 500GBP we're talking about i probably wouldn't do anything but the fact thats its 5k is quite a substantial amount.

    [UK] Price cuts

morning all, quick question has anyone who hasn't taken delivery managed to get a price cut on their car? I've had to put my MY on hold until May and have been told I'm not allowed the price cut which seems odd to me. Someone who orders their car now will get it cheaper and before me (yes I...

    2023 Shipping Movements

Entered my VIN (found in the source code today) and apparently not on any of the HOEGH transports (according to the website checker), although from Mr Miserables posts earlier i'm expecting it to be on the MSC IMMACOLATA.

    Model Y UK Delivery

Got the hidden VIN today, hopefully things start to speed up from here lol, like Tesla getting back to me about whether i'd be paying the new price or not lol

Options for new Model Y - rims and acceleration boost?

personally i wouldn't bother with the acceleration boost. I've got the 20in coming on my one, however if you wanted to change the covers on the 19in's you can do, to a more 'induction' like look

    Aftermarket Alloys?

so i think there are some 'induction look alike covers that are available which would be cheaper and don't look too bad - thats of course if you want to go that route. https://www.amazon.com/XINFOOB-19-Inch-Replacement-2020-2023-Accessories/dp/B0B79QP649

    [UK] Price cuts

manufacturers reduce prices of various products all the time. If you went into Tesco last week and brought some chicken for 10GBP and then went in this week and it was 5GBP its the same thing. I had to pay markup prices over here in the states, I bitched and moaned about it, didn't get me...

    MYP UK Waiting Room

but all car manufacturers move prices around, whether its an increase or decrease.

    [UK] Price cuts

yeah the markups over here were terrible. in fact dealers in general over here are terrible, horrible places to go. It was actually a breath of fresh air being able to order the Tesla online without needing to go to a dealer. I wasn't a massive fan of dealers in the UK but having experienced...

    [UK] Price cuts

agree wholehardely, but thats how it was, even here over in the States. I ordered a M3 as my fiesta started to play up and the used prices were horrendous (ie more than new), due to delays, i had to cancel and ended up getting the Ioniq - and even then i had to contend with the dealer 'markup'...
