Hah, it's like one of those rare cases when an iPhone delivers a day before official release. I had than happen once! But just a possible theory.

Could also be they messaged all/most deliveries for today to say "reschedule" then got approval to start deliveries today, but only after they already rebooked? Or, could be a center that shouldn't have let it go. Either way, the slips suck. Hopefully we'll get a bunch of confirmations...

Guessing everyone with "Monday" deliveries scheduled got pushed, as I'm not seeing anyone going "I got mine!!".

Personal opinion it’s more likely how the agency works, no matter who is President. Government bureaucracy is a constant of space and time 😂

Sounds akin to the “recall” to fix the font size slightly a while back. Just tell people the estimate is just an estimate and deliver the vehicles lol. Seems a pretty red tape reason to need to hold things up. But, of course, that’s the government agency in action!

Pretty curious what is in this special firmware update that they would need to delay deliveries. Not like the car is gonna explode with “old” firmware, right?

Yup had my vin for a few days now as well. It’s weird that the app didn’t just prompt for the next step automatically. So I’m hoping the manual schedule holds up and not something they just slip because it shouldn’t have been done. Will find out in a few days!

Just looked up the specs of what I’m doing… Xpel XR Plus 70. Transmits 67% of visible light, and transmits 35% solar energy (heat). So it rejects 65% heat.

I edited my post as you were replying. Haha. I’m gonna go with a 70 (meaning transmits 70% visible light). But heat rejection is like 50-60% if I remember the specs. I do the same film all the way around.

I tinted my current M3s roof and plan on doing this one too. I think cracking shouldn’t be an issue with a good quality film. Bad films (just colored, not containing metal, ceramic, whatever the current technology is these days), could cause excess heat absorption and cracking. But if you get a...

Gotcha. Just checked. for mine it's the same phone # on Tesla's website. Maybe my local showroom (in Arizona) just forwarded all their calls to the national line and is ignoring the phone. Thanks for the tip though, was a good plan! Just foiled in my case.
