I called tesla and they walked me through steps to reset the WiFi signal through turning off the system and wait for 5 min then turn it back on. And this seems have solved the issue. I recommend calling Tesla and following their instructions for anyone with similar case like @n.one.one mentioned.

This is my powerwall+ the inverter on the top is also the gateway, i dont have s separate gateway to press the reset button. And i used to have a wifi gateway signal starts with TEG- coming out of that, and now nothing.

My powerwall+ doesn't have gateway, only the battery and the inverter on top of it that has the gateway. So no reset button.

Just to give a final update to this issue, after 6 month from installation, and 3 month from PTO, finally a good TESLA crew came and fix the system. 8 of my 19 panels were not producing, now production is full almost doubled after the visit. It was not due to PTO, it was something wrong with wiring.

Thanks @taphil for this great post with timeline, I learned a lot. But made me feel that i have a long way to go till i fix my issue,since i am stil waiting for tesla filing for PTO in order for them to start looking at my low production.

What was production like before separating the strings into 3?

I ve tried that before, once the battery is at a 100% solar production get reduced just to match home consumption.

Battery was not at 100%, especially yesterday it was almost at 30% (far from being full)

My question now, what is the most effective way to get Tesla agree to come back and re-inspect their installation. Since i am now almost sure there is an issue and the system is slmost running at 50% capacity. Examples of full sunny days of my 7.6 system.

Thanks, and I agree with you. I just sent them an email I am sure I am going to get the same response "you are still in PTO". I will keep taking snapshots untill pto.
