I would also add that the ones from Tesla look nice. The ones I ordered from Amazon originally just looked horrible and were much harder to install.

So I noticed when connected via Watt Key, if I walk away from my car, the doors will close and lock. This doesn't happen when I use my phone to connect. Is there a way to disable this? I've accidentally closed the door on folks if I wander too far away. Thanks!

Do people still install third party dashcams in refresh X's? The built in one doesn't have as wide a field of view as I'm used to. If so, where are you getting power to it?

This is the view from my 2017 X. You can still see the bumper in the corners if you look for it. However, the overall camera view is not as jarring as the 2023 X. If this is the new normal, then it's the new normal. However, it's definitely different from before.

I just picked up a new X a couple weeks ago, and wondered about the rear view camera. Is it normal to see the car on the corners of the field of view? My old X didn't look like this.

No problem connecting. I'd say it adjusts a little bit less at the extremes than stock mirrors, but it was the same on my 2017. As for defrosting, I'm in San Diego. I honestly don't remember ever defrosting in my life, so would have no way of testing. For the photo, what are you looking for...

Just to follow up on this, I pulled my Suma mirrors off my 2017 Model X, and it fits on my new 2023 Model X just fine. Looking at the 2017 and 2023 OEM mirrors side by side, there's definitely some minor changes, but the size is exactly the same. The 2023 OEM mirrors are definitely a bit harder...
