MYLR2024 extended warranty - worth it or not?

No, most can be bought PRIOR to original warranty running out.

Tesla service & maintenance: the biggest difference with legacy car makers?

Don't know about that, I have never waited 2 weeks for a service appt at any of the local dealers. Especially for a tire sensor. When *sugar* hits the fan its nice to have someone to bitch at.

Alberta imposing $200 EV tax starting in 2025

Don't give them any suggestions. I expect that exact situation will happen with milage eventually. But as for the lack of road tax for ev's, if you really thought they would not tax you for using the road you need a head shake.

New Brunswick third party device centres, which ones have you used?

I have no idea what a "third party device centres" is but any shop that does alignments should be able to check and correct. The suspension is no different than any other car, other than using the cheapest ball joints known to man. But with your other problems and codes I wouldn't expect just...

    2020 M3P juddering and stopped mid-drive

For #3, if you sold the car why would anyone care?

Alberta imposing $200 EV tax starting in 2025

Why would anyone compare a mid size sedan to a pickup truck? Model 3 is 17% heavier than a honda accord, which is also a larger vehicle. And I also can't see why C02 has anything to do with road use taxes.

Alberta imposing $200 EV tax starting in 2025

Should be an announcement from Ontario soon. Don't blame them, evs don' pay any road use tax and weigh considerably more which is also harder on the roads.

    M3P: Trade or sell?

No he would get savings on the trade in not the equity.

Opening Tesla Mechanic Shop In Toronto

Most shops make $$ off of the parts, you are going to have to source a vast majority of parts at full retail from Tesla. If you mark them up at the normal rate your repair prices will much higher than just going to Tesla. What can you offer that they don't to get thoses cars in?

Model S windshield cracks almost every winter

Most Tesla's don't have resistive heating. Only older years had them.

    How would you handle this...

Exactly, why even involve the building management as parking in a handicapped spot is against a bylaw pretty much everywhere. And it's not a cheap ticket.

Tesla Service 2013 Tesla model s 60 Rear brake pads are seized in calipers service estimate 1363

Its a 10 model year old car. $120,000 sure. Find a local shop, brakes are brakes.

Blew something up in the rear!…

Not necessarily, if the aftermarket parts didn't cause a OEM part or system to fail ie. rear drive unit then it shouldn't be a problem. Note the word "shouldn't"

Blew something up in the rear!…

    Yes they do.

Is single peice casting a good or bad thing?

The model 3 is unibody and has no "frame" How does saving tesla money building the car outweigh the repair costs. The insurance and repair costs for all teslas in a few years when they are out of warranty are going to shock some people.
