    Range on Long Road Trips

I highly recommend ABRP (a better route planner) for your navigational needs. You can put everything in there, like wind, temperature and car weight. I use ABRP as a preplanning tool, and put the SuCs ABRP recommends in the car Nav. works like a charm. The EPA range test is performed indoors...

    Snow tire dilemma

I’m in your shoes every year, on the other side of the 0 meridian. As a Norwegian/Swedish dual citizen, currently living in southern Sweden, I travel a lot between green winter in Scania and 10 inches+ snow in Norway. Until a few years ago, I used to change to studded tires before my trip...

Which original Tesla wheels will fit the Model Y?

Thank you, I understand. .reading the load matrix from this thread, I see that both 19” Gemini’s, and 20” Induction are good candidates, but has anybody tried them on their MYP with the performance brakes?

Which original Tesla wheels will fit the Model Y?

Awaiting my delivery in a year or so when the Berlin factory opens. Until then I’m doing a bit of preplanning. I will need a second set of wheels for winter tires here in snowy Scandinavia, and I wonder which one of the original Tesla wheels will fit the Model Y P with the Performance package? I...

Camper- Will the Model Y sleep two?

Thanks to Ryan Shaw we have all measurements. Width 37 inches (0:55) and length 73-83 inches (5:40) It will surely accommodate me and the missus comfortably-ish.

    Cabin Camera

Would definitely not be able to use it in court if they film you without consent. it’s for future use when your MY runs as a taxi when you’re not using it, so it can film who vomited on your carpet.

Solution to cargo net and metal stud

Just came up with stole an idea on how to secure a cargo net, and get rid of that metal stud sticking out from the right passenger seat. My Volvo has a retractable cargo net, placed inside a bar. What if Tesla Hooks a similar bar onto the back of all three backseats with metal locks? Then you...

Advice wanted - Color and FSD choice

If you got the money for FSD, put the 7 grand in TSLA stocks. If and when the FSD becomes fully functional/roadlegal, the stock price will skyrocket, and you can use some of the money to pay for FSD, even if there is a price rise. I’ve had my shares of black cars, never again. The dirt is...

    I like it!

Regarding those ÜT rims. Are they the same color as the black trim around the wheel arches? They look to be more greyish to me, but I’ve only seen them on pics and videos. How are they IRL

    I like it!

Those ÜT looks great on MSM. I gave my wife the veto on color, and she really wants the blue one. Guess I’ll have to go for aftermarket black rims, if I’m not able to trade my 21” to 20” induction wheels. Do the 20” induction wheels fit the Model Y PUP?

Model Y INCLUDES Wireless Mobile Phone Charger

The thing about Tesla is that the have an extremely amount of information about their customers cars. Tesla has produced more than 1 million vehicles, and have gathered absurd amount of data from each of them. One type of information they have gathered are how many customers have actually...

Model Y Lackluster Performance Upgrade Package

My 20 öre is that you will be able to get a tow hook on the performance without the PUP. Here in Sweden PUP is standard when ordering a performance, so we only have 2 alternatives at the moment LR AWD or LR P (including PUP).

Model Y has no Spare Tire

Thats why i put like 5 question marks there. My question still stands. I’ve read numerous times on this and other (Tesla)forums, that there are laws somewhere that demands a physical spare wheel in the car, like comment #7 in this thread. I’ve yet to see evidence of this claim.
