How to protect new front half-shafts

So .... why is it that other higher power AWD vehicles don't end up getting this vibration .... that ought to be the real question.

Supercharger - Hollywood, CA (under construction Sep 2023, 32 stalls + diner)

pffft ... no wonder musk got the heck outa dodge ... thugs marking their drug sale territory all over the fencing. They'd best put those power lines underground to thug proof incoming power or else that place will be inoperable in no time flat. .

The shudder problem: Current status (end of February 2020)

Mystery: certainly the Range Rover has less torque than the X. Still, you can have the Range Rover SUV air jacked to max height, turn hard, go straight, whatever .... & the shudder NEVER OCCURS ... year after year. Yet tesla 'cures' the problem by preventing you from performing hard starts /...

How many of you will/may transition to CyberTruck?

stainless stamping has been done successfully - decades before Delorean ever thought of doing it. running the dunes near pismo beach in the early 1970's - some folks had stainless jeeps even back then. aluminum is no harder to form than stainless.

    2019 Model X P100D with 72 amp charger $1,500

Zombie thread - true - but 72 amp charging (X & S only) changes like so many other tesla features. hear today & gone tomorrow. Currently (no pun intended) it's offered again as of this writing. What's nice about 72 amp is that it's reasonably quick if you're going to go home for an hour then...

Tesla adds two new Model Y colors - Midnight Cherry & Quicksilver

YAY ! ! ! The loss of silver? This was my bitch-fest, not too long ago - maybe 4 or 5 months ago . . . . https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/anybody-miss-teslas-silver-paint-option.282596/ Squeaky wheel is finally getting some grease. ;) .

2023 Model Y Long Range Disappointment in boominess after Demo Drive

Probably the same as many of us that read the thread . . . . .b & this from a long term stock owner (roth & 401k). After having both an X & S - and still LOVING the tesla efficiency & considering the Y - but not until our present non-tesla cars' mileage gets too high. What does touting one's...

Anyone use this Romex 6/3 cable during install?

6 guage works fine for our 5' run to an 80amp breaker, tho we seldom charge @ 72amps. .

Should you wait for 2023 Tesla Model Y Long Range with 4680 Battery or by Tesla now? [Jan 2023]

4680 isn't the whiz bang chemestry that it was hyped to be. iow, other formats have greater kWh per weight than the alternative chemestries. So buy the car (or not) for what you perceive it to be. ;) .

The shudder problem: Current status (end of February 2020)

you buy the car be cause you NEED it to be high an many circumstances - yet they fix it disabling one of the very feature you buy it for. Nice. .

The shudder problem: Current status (end of February 2020)

Funny. I - and many other owners found the Range Rover to be very unreliable in many ways. Even so, we never got a shutter out of the shafts - even after 100,000 miles. Considering how much extra high the suspension can be driven on them - that's quite remarkable that Tesla can't figure it out...

Can you upgrade to full self driving after delivery

REALLY? Didn't used to be that way. Our brand new face lift style 2016 MS was 60kWh. Software bumped up a year later to 75. It (was) a service then - not a tangible property. Been a while since doing Calif BOE tax issues ... so maybe there's been a different ruling in the mean time.

    Aftermarket wheels for Model S

Same failure consideration with the huge amount of torque that happens when you punch it really hard.

Anybody miss Tesla's Silver paint option?

by the time we switched from our. 2016 MS to the 2018 MX, it was gone. No more silver ... never mind the gray leather & perforated/vented leather & working sunroof. sellers remorse. anyway - when you see so many silver cars running around the landscape you'd think it would be popular enough...
