My lease is up in 8 weeks. I added vinyl plates about 3 years ago and they have held up well. Is this a modification I’d have to unwind, and reinstall the original plates, as part of preparing my car to hand back - or can they be left as is?

Thanks all. The wisest choice perhaps seems to be to wait until I’ve got the new car before cashing in the referral credits. (Hoping that the referral credits themselves aren’t wiped and that Tesla don’t pull the referral scheme!)

It genuinely is slightly problematic. The full volume sentry warning/punishment has gone off on separate occasions when my wife/baby/dog has been in the car. IMO you shouldn’t have to take various steps to ensure dogs and children don’t get deafened.

I'll see what they say when they call them. For me, given my insurer was effectively fully indemnified by the other insurer paying out and not out of pocket by a penny, I would find it pretty galling for them to say I have made a claim.

I enjoyed the "idiots lantern" phrase. Not heard that one. To be honest I have near enough never used the fogs, but the rain was torrential and the spray meant visibility was very bad. A number of cars around me had their fogs on. I'll bear in mind the above criticism before ever using it again. :)

I should have added this. It does feel very tight on the inside, far more so than the Tesla. I also find the driving position surprisingly low for what looks like a relatively tall car.
