Indeed, the Vredestein Quatracs are rated highly for snow, which was a leading factor in my purchase.

OEM tires worked fine for me in Wisconsin, but I think my new Vredestein tires are better (still an all-season tire). I think all-seasons handle just fine.

Mine did the same thing. I took it in to Tesla and it was the hinge to the upper lid. They shot a little graphite powder at the joints and the problem disappeared.

In my household, we focus more on Tesla’s mission statement. I am aligned ideologically to Tesla’s mission, but cannot support the other American auto manufacturers anymore. So, less about the man and more about what the company supports. I know, sometimes it’s difficult to separate the two.
