Opened up the upper shroud where the a/c intake vent is to look around the frunk and noticed this is the clip! Upon delivery that shroud was moving around apparently because the clip had broken. Service replaced it and I guess the original broken clip had fallen down the fender and made its way...

Ah, that makes sense! Looks like it cracked so a little JB Weld might be needed.

While finally washing my MY door jambs I found this loose clip in the front passenger hinge area (pic has yellow circle where I found it). Looked around door hinge area on both sides to try and figure out where it goes but no luck. Any ideas?

Kind of a dumb question, but looking at the pics I noticed the design of the "spokes" have sort of a directional twist (like a propellor or turbine blade) so I'm wondering if a set of 4 are all the same? Ran into the same issue and mobile tech showed me where one tiny pin in one of the ports of the mobile connector was slightly out of alignment causing the problems. Ditto tech just swapped out the entire mobile connector which leads me to believe it is pretty common so they're ready with a spare.

Red, without the wheelcovers. Re the numbers of the plates, I'm wondering if the DMV just grabs the plates out of a box so you get random numbers not in sequence. Doesn't make sense, but you know how they work.
