Mount Washington - The Windiest Place on Earth in my Model 3

    1. I did try to activate AP a few times as you saw. But I must have missed that moment as I was "mostly" trying to pay attention to the road. I am in Auburn, NH and have NHEC for me electric company. Not many homes have this as their provider On my TOU meter I believe its 11.1 or 11.8c per kwh...

Mount Washington - The Windiest Place on Earth in my Model 3

Thought you guys might enjoy this short youtube video I made yesterday when I took my Model 3 to the top of Mount Washington. Total trip was 256 miles. Started at 100%, and retuebd home at 10% charge. When I got to the base of the 6288' mountain, I was at 58% SOC. At the peak, about an 8...

Mounted my Forgestar CF10 and PS4S

Finally got my summer wheels mounted up. Decided to go with 19*9 ET35 Forgestar CF10. I bought them on a Black Friday special buy 3 get 1 free. Too good not to pass up. They weigh around 21-22lbs I really wanted to wait for the release of the Michelin Pilot Sport EV, but that's looking like a...

Drove My Model 3 LR 150 Miles in a Blizzard: It Did GREAT

For those interested in the Ariens, shot another video in today's storm Was between that, and a "range" video in snow driving, but I didn't have time to shoot both, and the driveway HAD to be cleared

For sure some left lane hogs. They are just "scared" I understand and don't blame them

    Thermometer slow to adjust?

My 2021 Dual motor responds VERY slowly, and YES it actually is a real issue for me. I leave my 55* garage, and it takes 15-18 mins on my 20 mins commute for the temperature to adjust. Now, I'm in the ice cream business and getting a real time/live temperature reading can really help me judge...

Drove My Model 3 LR 150 Miles in a Blizzard: It Did GREAT

The ariens is a beast. I went for the 28" professional EFI. Love the EFI, this is my second year with the unit

Drove My Model 3 LR 150 Miles in a Blizzard: It Did GREAT

I don't believe so. I would like the stability control to ease off just a bit to allow for a bit more sliding. Honestly, a small, yet controlled, slide is often the easiest way to put the power down and go where you need to go.

I want to try fiddling with that next. Does service mode keep the wipers 1/4 the way up the windshield? That would be perfect for melting them! Would honestly be a great software addition for "snow mode" 1. Automatic reduction of traction control 2. headlights on 3. wipers 1/4 up

Drove My Model 3 LR 150 Miles in a Blizzard: It Did GREAT

Thought I would share my thoughts on how well my Model 3 did driving in last weeks Nor'Easter. Ive always loved driving in the snowiest conditions and was waiting for the right time to try my new EV out. It's great to know, that if you HAVE to do it, that the vehicle can handle it. Pros: 1 -...
