    FSD now with Autopilot Summon

Today the ordering page for all Tesla's (3, S and X) includes the following quote when ordering Full Self-Driving Capability. "Summon: your parked car will come find you anywhere in a parking lot. Really." This is in the section explaining things available NOW, not coming later. Has anyone...

Preheat Cabin, then let it cool naturally without AC

I completely understand what he is saying. The car with v9 tries to "help" by automatically turning on the heat when the cabin temp is colder than preset and A/C cooling when it is warmer than preset. Problem is, unlike most cars there is no "heat" switch because the A/C = heat which is weird. I...

    Super Loud: New Autopilot Chimes

I really wish Tesla would provide an option for the volume of the autopilot chimes. I just got a new 2018 Model X with upgraded sound system. The autopilot chimes are significantly louder than my previous 2016 Autopilot 1.0 Model X and 2015 Model S, all on the same firmware version. I'm...

Performance Plus + suspension ---> regular suspension owners

I've been living with a P85DL with pre-April + suspension for the past 2 years. I test drove a P100D last night. I thought I'd be blown away by the increased speed, better seats, Autopilot 2.0, etc. Both have new tires, although the guy had his tire pressure at like 36 psi. I agree with DillyBop...

If 8.0 ships tomorrow everyone's next Tesla payment is on me!

Well, that didn't take long. It was 2.36.31. Now I can hit the hay.

If 8.0 ships tomorrow everyone's next Tesla payment is on me!

it is just after midnight and I got a software update notice for my Model X. I'm sure it's the 7.1 "Chinese Hacker block" upgrade (AKA "It's 8.0!! Oh crap, no it's not." upgrade v2.36.31 on Tesla Firmware Upgrade Tracker). I got it for my Model S last weekend but... now I can't sleep and have to...

Newer P90DL makes 662 hp at the battery!!!

My Model X 90D (Delivered 6/22/16, VIN 006624) has the newest battery part number I have seen... 1088790-00-A Of note, full charge, ideal range shows 311 miles in the Model X which is impressive. I'm not getting too excited since it is the first full charge on the day of delivery. Just another...

    Unable to unlock from app(s)

I won't mess with the settings now until I bring it to Tesla Service next week. I also had the LTE upgrade along with the display replacement so our problems are the same. I'll be sure to post here when I have an answer.

    Unable to unlock from app(s)

I am having the same problem now with the latest 7.1 firmware update. 2015 Model S P85D and cannot unlock car from app. Rebooted car display and dash, rebooted phone, deleted and reinstalled tesla app, turned remote access off and on in car, turned off and on always connected option. Tried from...

    Downgrading to an S model?

Yes, middle row folds down on Model S (really?). Nope, your not missing anything. Discussed ad nauseum on this forum. Just use the search function and try not to start new threads where thousands of replies to this have already been discussed. Ground clearance? What does that have to do with...

    Design center now shows 75D

Brian, If you just browse the CPO's new & pre-owned you see P90D's listed, but if you click on the actual car for options you will see they all have Ludicrous...every single one of them. I went back and checked to be sure. It seems all P90D's are hardware equipped with Ludicrous, it is simply...

    Design center now shows 75D

Tesla is brilliant! Don't forget the additional profit they get on the other end after you trade in or return your lease. These "70 kWh" cars magically ALL become 75 kWh cars on the CPO website. Your car isn't worth as much as it's only a "70 kWh" battery so they give you less on your trade in...

Could not connect to home Wifi (Ubiquiti UniFi Long Range Access Point)

My first post was off the top of my head from my personal experimentation. After further research, TeslaTap and TMC has info that Model S uses the Parrot FC6050W chip which supports 802.11b/g/i/j. Looks like only b/g are enabled. Finally found the info sheet. Tesla has to upgrade to the Parrot...

Could not connect to home Wifi (Ubiquiti UniFi Long Range Access Point)

Model S only supports 802.11g 2.4Ghz. If you are using 802.11n 2.4Ghz you will see the network and you can try to connect, it just won't work. I was excited that with the LTE upgrade to my Model S that MAYBE Tesla upgraded the WiFi as well. No such luck. Kinda sucks since out of 25 or so WiFI...

    Simulate Other Model S Drivetrains
