Not getting unlimited supercharging and data in korea is the way forward. Thanks for rubbing it in that you still have it lol!

Rephrase your question. Displayed maps? Fsd is not a thing here. It will never be. But I don't have fsd anyway.

You can get a new sim card and put it in the car I think. Ask the service center in korea. You need to be fluent. But then that's just for data in the car and there's almost no point since you can just use unlimited data on your phone and stream content thru that and use a better map on that...

Bringing a car outside homologation area breaches warranty thus you don't get those benefits. I tried, no dice. I tried repeatedly. Still the car is great and if you do need repairs they are far far far cheaper in SK than the US.

No problem. So the free 4 life supercharging I wouldn't know about. Call tesla support in korea. They actually answer.

1] yes. It's possible but they don't do it often. You really need to speak Korean for this level of service interaction. Essentially if you buy an SK Sim card with an unlimited data sharing plan and activate it w/SK (provide the imei#) it will be an active Sim that you can give to your service...

Not sure where I said that. Tesla service centers in korea are phenomenal. They charge far less for normal service and wear and tear stuff. Eg., I just replaced my 12v battery since it was like 3.5 years old. Everything including some other checkups was less than 100 bucks. I had a filter change...

It should go without saying that supercharging works so long as you change your credit card and phone number online to be your korean credit card and phone number. Destination charging using the regular tesla chargeport(sort of like 완속 40km/hr)is often free and unrestricted at malls etc. Unlike...

for both the front and back plates i am using my american stick-on bracket. then i screw in the korean GUARD that you get at your gu-cheong when you register the car. that is what directly holds your plate. as luck would have it, it has *good enough* screw hold placement to fit on the upper...

Nothing else. Car is better than anything else save for the y. I wouldn't be without this car anywhere. Aside: Koreans don't even use the tesla map. They use tmap or kakao on their phones. Tesla map is useless since it conveys no info about traffic cams etc. Additionally? If u wanna use your...

This sort of thing makes little sense (to me at least... like why would they do it like that?) and is nearly impossible to communicate from English speakers (tesla corporate) to korean speakers (tesla korea) back to English speakers (me).
