    Hansshow Audio Upgrade? (SR+)

I'm curious about that, too. I bought the version E set before you started offering the version F sub. The version E sub is okay, but I wouldn't mind more punch.

    Phone Key Pairing Issues (OnePlus)

OnePlus 6 working fine with mine. My wife has a OnePlus 5 that pairs with my car with no problems, too. I suspect there's something missing on earlier OnePlus phones that's used with key pairing.

Seeking Opinions - New LR AWD vs. Demo M3P+

I would almost certainly go with the new car, though I'd think about buying the performance boost upgrade. Like others have said, it's a new car with a bigger battery and a heat pump. One thing I have heard is that the 20" wheels on the M3P+ are more easily damaged than the other wheels. I...

    Hansshow Audio Upgrade? (SR+)

My own take on it is that the Hanshow products are more of a work in progress, and as long as you treat them that way, I think they're a reasonable deal. I bought the version E, so this is all based on my experience with that prorduct. The DSP seems nice, though I don't think it's particularly...

    Hansshow Audio Upgrade? (SR+)

I suspect it's drawing less than that, honestly. If they shipped harnesses feeding it with a 16awg power wire, I wouldn't expect it to draw more than 10 amps. Though part of me is wondering if they simply assumed that most people would keep the volume turned down enough that it wouldn't draw at...

    Hansshow Audio Upgrade? (SR+)

You've got 14awg power and ground wires on yours? My version E harness has 16awg. It's one of the prickly points for me about the upgrade, and I ended up buying some heavier wire to run back to the sub.

Getting Started with first Model 3

Congratulations! It's a great car, you'll love it! I'll second yyzbig6: If you're not used to a car where the rims stick out past the tire, you'll scrape them. I scraped mine the day I took it home. It hurt at the time, but it definitely brought home the fact that I can't get as close to the...

    I joined the light side....

Congrats! And yeah, my free charging had an expiration date, as well. It was kind of a bummer, especially considering we went into lockdown 3 months after I got the car...

"Deep Rain" improvements [post about auto wipers]

The auto wiper was pretty dodgy when I first got my M3 a year ago - we often get this relentless sort of “greasy” drizzle here, and the auto wiper wouldn’t reliably detect it. At some point a few months later it got much better after an update, and now it’s been working pretty reliably for me. I...

    2021 M3 SR+ & 82 kw battery

There's more to it than just weight, too. Mountain Pass Performance did some dyno testing of the SR+ versus AWD models, and the power/torque curves are pretty different. They speculate that Tesla flattened the power/torque curve for the SR+ in order to make it feel peppy despite the lower power...

    Hansshow Audio Upgrade? (SR+)

I ordered mine on the 2nd, so it only took a couple of weeks. Since there are folks out there who have installed this already and are happy with the sound, I suspect the power wires are probably fine for the DSP and sub, at least if you don't really crank it. My main issue is the lack of fusing...

    Hansshow Audio Upgrade? (SR+)

I got my version E kit, and in general it looks pretty decent. I'm a little concerned about the power wires, however, so I'm going to treat the thing as a work in progress. Both the DSP and the subwoofer each have little 16 AWG power wires with no fuse at the power tap. I can't find any info on...

    Hansshow Audio Upgrade? (SR+)

That's my take on it, as well. Though I don't really need a big thump. I'm mainly just lookin for a sub to help round out the bass.

    Seat heaters reset?

Same here. My front seat heaters always remember their settings, but the rear seat heaters turn off pretty quickly unless someone is sitting in them.

Help with prepping for first car please

I ended up getting this repair kit based on someone else's recommendation on these forums. It seems pretty nice, though I haven't had to use it yet. I bought this compressor, too. They both live in the sub-trunk space as cheap peace of mind.
