"Acceleration Boost" option, discussion as to which models and how much quicker

The upgrade option for me is quite pathetic. $2700 CAD for 4.6 Seconds to 4.1 Seconds 0-60 on my LR AWD

    Model 3 sudden battery degradation

I'm not sure if this a combination of Tesla Software Updates, Cold weather temperatures, or both, but it seems like there was a pretty sudden drop. I've owned my Model 3 since September 2018. Any ideas, has anyone else seen something similar?

    Canadian CHAdeMO charging

I did a good 1hr charge on CHAdeMO today and the majority of the time was 34 KW, as I was in the 70% range it jumped up to 42KW, but dropped back to 35KW pretty quick and stayed down there all the way up to 87% when I stopped charging.

Vancouverites looking into Ceramic or Xpel

I can't speak for the the results of Vancouver Clear Bra but he does his work in his condo underground parking as far as I can tell. I went with Ken @ Autowerkes because he's done my co-worker's Porsches and before I knew thst tidbit, having a shop and seeing his attention to detail from a...

    AP/FSD sale ends March 18th

That bastard Elon Musk knows how to make a compelling event. I had EAP and used my paycheque today to buy FSD. I hate you Elon, I hate you so much.

V3 Supercharging.. wagers on first Canadian location

V3 Chargers make a lot of sense for large lonely stretches of road where you want to energize and leave quite quickly. Be prepared for the Tier 3 charge rate cost however; the infrastructure requirements for these are ridiculous and with Tesla already experiencing financial troubles, the only...

Chinook Mall removing Tesla Wall Chargers?

I imagine they are going to swap out the Tesla chargers for Chargepoint or Flo and make it a revenue earning device.

    Electrify Canada

The door isn't open though; Tesla's claim of "opening up patents" has been a media story. What Tesla would need to have done was work with standards organizations such as SAE and have the Tesla connector turned into a standard and given that the entire auto industry is adopting CCS, it's game...

    Electrify Canada

I'm not sure what You're getting at with the gas station analogy and 'same energy source' What I am saying is that Tesla WILL move to CCS in North America eventually and likely in 5 years and this is because if they don't they will be at a competitive disadvantage for charging options...

    Electrify Canada

Due to the way the European CCS Plug is designed, it was easy to make an adapter since the Mennekes Typ2 port is layed out. The North American edition of CCS is different and the fear is that no adapter is possible. I guarantee that all future Tesla vehicles in North America will use CCS, maybe...

Anyone tested S/X CHAdeMO Adapter on Model 3

It's an example. of course the more we zoom into every region the more we're going to see. I want everyone who thinks that wanting CHAdeMO or CCS Adapters to understand that every other EV Owner in the future is going to have a massive choice of stations in the future and when it comes to DCFC...
