    Rear trunk won't open

Stuck trunk here, 2016 S. Got to the two mechanisms. Can feel that the actuator has wound around enough to begin clinching the lock, but not fully. Still 1\4 inch space for full trunk closure. I can push the lock mech lever to full engage and close that trunk gap, but I cannot move lever...

Tesla Broken into - twice in two weeks, weak spot?

Could we not add a simple broken glass alarm? I found several add on units that are cheap. DEI 506T Audio Sensor - Glass Breakage Detector - for car alarms Would need to tie into the alarm, or just tap into the open door circuit, so the alarm triggers an open door state. Still its likely it...

Got an Alignment done, WOW it was super out of wack

Same problem on a MS Dec2016 delivered. Right out of the delivery room, pulls to the right. One month to get a service appointment, and there for five days. Get it back and then it pulled to the left as much as it had been to the right. Two weeks later service picks it up from my driveway...

Charging spots are not parking spots!

I backed the wheel over the cord to reduce the chance someone might try to steal it.

Charging spots are not parking spots!

SFO has banks of 120V outlets located near the elevators of its long term parking structure, about 10 spots per floor. Some authorities see the benefit of low cost power plugs for EV parking for days.

Leaking door seals, 2016 Model S

Here is an image of my front driver door after a moderate rain and 15min of highway driving in the rain. Water is streaming from the last door seal, above the door sill (not shown). SC could find not issue with the seals. I must agree with oktane, we simply don't have tight sealing of a...

Leaking door seals, 2016 Model S

Sorry for the delay, By past the last seal, i mean, if one moves from outside the car to inside the car, you will encounter several seals. The last seal, before one enter the cabin, is the seal that had the final job of locking out, noise, dust, air, and water. Past that seal, you would be...

    Slacker - no LTE signal

I am continuing to experience, full LTE bars, then drop to zero, then back. The streaming may or may not restart properly. Its maddening to have such spotty LTE signal in a dense metropolitan area, SF bay area. I am bringing it up at the service call tomorrow. J

Tesla Service, can I drop the car the night before

Does anyone know if its possible to drop the car off the night before of a scheduled repair service? Its a 9am slot that took a month to get, for wheel alignment, trim fixing, LTE radio issues. I would like to drop the car off Sunday night, so I need not battle the traffic Monday morning...
