Thanks for the reply, I sort of figured that . I noticed that China is now receiving the new 2024 updated Y and the range is 688km, 250 bucks would be a small price to pay for the 200km of additional range.

It looks as though Canadian/USA 2024 model Y is going to get a massive bump in range if our version is the same as the Chinese version. Chinese 2024 Model Y Long Range 688km Canadian 2023 Model Y Long Range 497km I am correct in assuming this? https://www.tesla.cn/modely/design#overview

I have a Model Y on order and was wondering if I cancelled my order could I use my deposit towards another Tesla at a later date?
