First time at a V3, this past week. One of three model 3's, I started at 150kW at 25%SoC, which fell to 135kW by 35%... 90kW@45%... 70kW until 80%.

Experience with home charger in outdoor location

I have used a Wall Connector that is exposed to direct sun all day. Or whatever rain, snow, or ice has come along over the past two years. The silver case still looks good. That said, I plan to move it to a covered garage when I can.

Tying down cargo in the backtrunk

In case it takes a while for someone to get a Y specific answer ... In my model 3, I put a 12" long strip of hook & loop tape (aka velcro) around each of the three lower child-seat-latch bars. Leaving the slack under the seat-backs and sticking into the trunk. I strung a 1"wide 12'long nylon...

    California HOA Insurance

I have heard buildings asking the parking space owner/operator to get at least $1M in "liability" coverage. You should be able to ask your home insurer for a quote for extending your existing liability coverage. They will ask a few questions to assess what they see are likely problems. So few...

Leaving new M3P in garage while on cruise

With Sentry Mode Off, I've lost less than 1% per day. With Sentry ON, I lose ~8-9% per day, or ~%50 per week. The car will turn off Sentry mode if it gets down to 20%. So, worst case, if you get quarantined, your car will be fine.

Addressing the Challenges of Installing EV Charging Equipment in Multi-Unit Dwellings in Florida

This condo set up their own meters. The electricity cost to the association was low enough to only check usage quarterly. My $6,000 Tesla Wall Connector: the story of bringing Electric Vehicle charging to a high-rise condo tower in Seattle - Jeff Wilcox

    Wall charger price

If the electrician thinks even a 20A/240V line is too much, look into a DCC linked above. That's what I'm doing for my proposal to my condo board.

Condo EVSE (ie. chargers at 'multi-family' buildings) Support Thread

This guy deserves a medal. I've never seen such a thorough write-up about an experience with condo chargers. My $6,000 Tesla Wall Connector: the story of bringing Electric Vehicle charging to a high-rise condo tower in Seattle - Jeff Wilcox Here is exactly what I was searching for: a policy...

Condo EV charger installed - Ontario

Infinitiguy: Thanks, and I totally get that Associations feel uncomfortable sharing. I've put my proposed process here: Condo EVSE (ie. chargers at 'multi-family' buildings) Support Thread If you can, I'd appreciate if you can say if I've covered your building's steps, or if I have missed...

Condo EVSE (ie. chargers at 'multi-family' buildings) Support Thread

If it helps, here's a response to a neighbor concerned about fire risk of charging EV's in a condo. Another condo nearby successfully used this to address objections to their second EVSE install.

Condo EVSE (ie. chargers at 'multi-family' buildings) Support Thread

Can anyone compare my proposed EVSE install Process/RequestForm/Rules to their condo? The manager at my building is still waiting for me to come up with additional examples from other condos. Another thread suggested Associations are cautious about posting their docs online. If this is the...

Condo EV charger installed - Ontario

Please, lets make a generic one. I can share the process I proposed for my condo. Perhaps we could also list some common objections and counter arguments. A neighboring condo used my write up on "why the fire 'risk' is BS" to cool down some trolls. Last month I was asked to get "more process...
