Took delivery yesterday, everything on the outside was perfect, drivers seatbelt was stuck so they fixed it on the spot, 20 minute delay. But the drive home was a two hour permasmile.

Update: Just spoke with delivery center, my car has arrived (along with a number of others in Georgia). My 11/15 delivery is confirmed.

Alright that might explain part of it - mine is SR+ White/Black, aero, no FSD and my VIN is 504***. I think the SR+'s being produced right now have lower VINs than the LR and M3Ps. Anyway, I'm not an expert, but I don't think you have anything to worry about, I suspect it was just produced or...

I don't think so - do you have an SR+ White on Black? I think the numbering may be different based on trim levels, not strictly tied to date of production.

Yeah, I think that's a fair point. I shifted a bunch of meetings to accommodate the first appointment, and now I have to go pretty well out of my way for the new (Friday) appointment due to the delay in transit. In fairness, if it's an "in-transit" issue, then it's likely out of their control...

Update - was supposed to take delivery tomorrow, but apparently there have been delays in transit... so tentatively now scheduled for Friday the 15th. :( Pretty bummed, will be especially bummed if Friday doesn't happen.

Mine appeared with no warning, out of the blue with no reachout by SA on 29/30 October. Then, when I uploaded proof of insurance and emailed the SA, my account updated and the VIN posted yesterday.

Ordered in Atlanta, no invite to an orientation yet, but taking delivery on Tuesday the 12th. Not real worried about needing orientation with the amount of information available.

Great point - colleague of mine ordered a Mercedes SUV - I believe he placed the order back in May/June and he definitely hadn't taken delivery as recently as two weeks ago. I do think that since Teslas are so flippin cool, unique, the cutting edge of many technologies, and that people...
