    Thought I'd start a RN116X thread (group).

Picked up today; order date Feb 15 2022. No mobile charger. Got the $200 coupon code but haven’t acted on it yet. All good so far.

Same thing happened to me last week. Ordered 15 Feb 2022 —- theoretically taking delivery (in Maryland) next week.

    P85DL HV Battery Replacement

I just retrieved the vehicle last night, so I haven't made a detailed measurement, but yes, after charging last night, it does appear to have improved in both respects as you suggest.

    P85DL HV Battery Replacement

I want to add my experience to this thread. I just retrieved my 2015 P85DL (see signature) with what I believe is a new 90 kWh pack replaced under warranty. I was about 1 yr 3 mos away from end of warranty. Process end-to-end took 7 weeks +/- The attached photos show what I had vs. what I...

    350V 85/90 kWh - not Ludicrous compatible

I think I am about to face the OPs situation. The vehicle was reporting a 100% SOC after it had been driven 50 miles or more….and of course it wasn’t charged to 100% in the first place. A call to roadside service allowed for diagnostics that showed the SOC was actually at about 75% +/-…..so I...

I see my old P85D on Tesla's used inventory

Given the recent promotional performance upgrade, I figured why not...so I guess the answer is yes. I should mention that the car just crossed 55K miles as well....so it is out of warranty (except for the power train and battery). Despite the accident it has been, and is a very reliable...

I see my old P85D on Tesla's used inventory

Here is some related info. I just got a trade offer from Tesla.....my car was in an accident with driver airbags deployed. Offer = $30K. Interestingly the CARFAX estimated trade is: $41.5K apparently also accounting for the accident.

I charged to 87% and got 210 miles on P85DL is that bad?

Just to add another data point. 55K miles. Rated Range = 221/222 at 90% SOC. Charge to 90% nightly.

    Just Got Rear Ended...Now What?

I feel like I had a similar experience....I figure the knucklehead was looking at his cell phone while at the traffic light........First I cried....no kidding. The car was less than 6 months old. Then I brought the car to my local authorized Tesla Body Shop. They removed, "repaired" (they can...

Performance of P85D with Ludicrous upgrade review

You need a more precise measurement. The most cost effective way that I know to get that is to use PowerTools for Tesla (compatible with IPhone/IPad). Charge to 95%, max battery on.....I think you will see above 450 kW.

P85D For Sale or Lease Transfer

RWD vs AWD 50000 miles vs 13000 miles (whether this makes much of a difference is certainly debatable!) Next-gen seats Autopilot And significant performance and handling differences. Tesla Model S P85D VS. P85+ Drag Race - Gas 2 One would have to decide for themselves whether performance, a...

P85D For Sale or Lease Transfer

I suspect an informed buyer will know there is a vast difference between the OP vehicle's capabilities and value as compared to the vehicle that is offered at the link above.

NEMA 14-50 in the garage for $450 - is that fair?

It is not "unfair." It could be argued that the price is a little high if the breaker box is in the garage. Let's face it. It's just an installation of a 240V/50A receptacle that will carry up to 40A continuous with the necessary wire run from the box to the receptacle. If your breaker box...

collision avoidance fails to detect golf ball

I completely agree. Paintless dent repair works great and will probably cost you $100 or less (at least that's true here in MD).

    Ludicrous Upgrade Scheduling?

Go in with 75 miles or less and that should work.
