Yes, the button folds the seats and unlocks the slide forward and backward. It does not slide forward automatically via a button press.

I am surprised as well. Especially after they have shown a history of making these upgrades. I paid for FSD upfront because of this history and bought it at the end of last year based on it as well. I guess it comes down to if HW3 can really achieve autonomy. I hope the definition of autonomy...

Update - the repair did make a difference in air flow. It’s still not strong, but it exists. I’d consider it an improvement at this point.

I was told it was within spec when I dropped off my model x at the service center. The app now shows the technician's note “found crack in bus bar air duct assembly. Needs replacing.” Let’s hope it fixes the issue!

I have some travel coming up. So, I haven’t let anyone touch the seat. I’ll start playing with it again in a month and see if it gets stuck again.

Has anyone else been able to get this fixed? My service advisor just said it’s normal and nothing they can do. Almost no air out of one side and 15% of normal out of the other in the third row.

Switched service centers and it wasn’t a problem. Not sure what the service advisor in Kennesaw was thinking.

Service said that the lack of airflow is normal and within spec. That is a bummer for a 100k+ car. I can live with it, but I will be asking for any updates on it every time I am at Tesla Service for something.

I have PPF in my headlights, but it is clear. I’ve seen some that are smoked. I’ve never seen yellow. It would unique!

It’s a known flaw. A new seat is just a temporary fix. I hope they come up with a solution soon.

Now that I’m used to the yoke. I wouldn’t go back.

Went in for service. They were able to get the seat moving again. They weren’t confident it would fix it permanently though. They ordered another seat as a backup but said that it is a known flaw and they are working on a fix. So, a new seat probably isn’t a permanent solution either.

I dropped off today. Very nice facility and the service advisor Jonathan is awesome! Looking forward to a great local facility.

Same problem. Going into the service center today for repairs. Crossing my fingers!
