    MCU2 Failure

Wouldn’t this be a new card when they installed the mcu2? Or do they reuse the old card?

    MCU2 Failure

I have a 2015 85D which I upgraded to the MCU2 instead of doing the recall fix for the MCU1. In March, after a SW update, the navigation stopped working. I have rebooted the MCU (hold down scroll wheels), rebooted with the change tire size. Tesla also tried to push an update as well. Nothing...

    7 seat waiting room

Tried to take delivery today, went to Fremont, after 2.5 hrs of waiting, was finally told that the reason it was taking so long is that I needed to pay for the car before I could fully inspect it. I could only look at the outside of the car without paying. If I wanted to sit in the car then I...

    7 seat waiting room

Agree on this use case too, we want the 7 seater for taking my daughter and her friends around, she's still young so it's just smaller kids who will fit fine. We have a 7 seat MDX that worked well for this purpose too that we are replacing. Only used the seats a handful of times, but when you...

    7 seat waiting room

Just received an updated text today that my MY7 white/white is ready for delivery. Really debating if I pull the trigger or wait until later

    7 seat waiting room

Same here White/White/7seat/Hitch ordered March 27 - text today pushing into '23 - at this stage I'm going to wait it out since I don't need the Y and possibly pick up a used one or see if they start dropping prices with waning demand

    19" Model S rims - 2015

When I needed new tires I bought a pair of slipstream takeoffs. I have my original 19' from my 2015 that I need to get rid of. Going to be VERY honest, they are curbed and scratched - perfect for snow tires or plastidip. Includes TPMS and center caps $200 - pick up in Menlo Park CA

    NHTSA Investigates Failing MCUs

I wonder how this may affect Tesla's plans and pricing - if the the NTSB receives more complaints of failures it may force Tesla to fix these failures The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says in documents that it's investigating failures in the 2012 through 2015 Tesla Model S...

    Tesla solar installation experience.

It was about 4 months in total, from when I took photos and they designed the system to when I could turn it on. After install, it was 2 weeks or so for final inspection, then another 2 weeks for PGE to let me turn it on

    Tesla solar installation experience.

I too had a great install experience, it was the lack of communication leading up to the install that was bad. The install team was fantastic, very pleasant and did high quality work

Model S Heated Steering Wheel 1036774-00-D

Why did you remove it? Heater still work?

Looking at 6/15 85D, what is good range? Price?

no idea on price, but as an 85D owner, the last SW update really slowed down charging and all but eliminated regen. I'd look for a 75D instead

    Tesla Energy is horrible

Agree with Jay, the customer service for their solar installs leaves a lot to be desired. In the end, the install team and the tech who was at my house for final inspection was great. However all through the process it was a black hole of communication. If you have the phone number for the sales...

    Getting rid of cigarette smoke

You should be able to find a non-smoker car in CA no problem. If you can't then Ozium on a hot day will do wonders, spray it in the car (hold your breath) and leave it in the sun to "cook"
