Yes seems like October 2018 980 motor will have a blank plate, mine is November though, what does your December motor have, a 980 or 990 -

I hope this has been figured out already, what the heck is this most likely rear motor on a 2018 model 3 LR and why would it be blank or covered 30-E inverter
