I have two Tesla accounts. Short of the long is that Tesla doesn't have a good way of combining accounts (annoying). So, my original Cybertruck reservation (RN112+++) is on a different account than my Model Y and home solar w/ PWs. I just placed 3 new CT reservations and the numbers came out as...

Installed solar + 2 PWs in 2020 and got the credit. Installed an additional PW in 2022 and got the credit again on just the PW.

I haven't ran the cable yet, but you can connect directly to the gateway using cat5e/6 and remove the need for the zigbee portion. Sorry for the necro-reply.

I added a 220v 50A outlet and it gets the job done. I keep my Tesla adapter connected to the outlet and then just plug in when I come back home.

The Rivian looks like parking lots will cause damage. I'm sticking to the CT.

I know folks tend to focus on looks, and that's why I'm going to take a pass on the Rivian.

Problem resolved. If someone comes across this issue, the problem is a subset of PWs that run into this issue when commissioning occurs. Installer can have Tesla manually push an update to correct the problem. Installer told me it’s been a common issue since new installs from December on. Easy...

I don't I have those, just verified. It also wouldn't explain the "DC Stage Fault" --I can't find any reference to this error code in any available documentation. I can only assume the install was incorrect :(

Product road map is a very specific business process. Elon chose his words and failed to deliver. I'm not saying it's a red flag, but it certainly warrants some modicum of concern. I think he's trying to preserve reservation numbers. I'm in the "hardcore" category, as likely many here are, but...
