We end up managing getting the car to Chevron Inline Village. They open on Sunday and patching the hole caused by a nail was super fast. Glad we are back to road again!

Just got a flat tire when we are traveling at Tahoe area. And most tire shops are closed during Sunday. Panicing. Thanks for your help!

Just realize new model doesn’t have summon because I don’t want to pay 10k for a new coming feature. This is really pushing me towards the edge to get rid of new car when the demand is still strong.

LR 7 seats got dropped on the drive way today. Ordered May 2021, intially EDD was July, pushed once. VIN was assinged 08/10, original delivery window was 08/12 - 08/13, pushed to 08/15 to get fund ready. Other than no keyfob and missing a bunch of physical knobs like gear shift, not much big...

This sounds like a way to cut cost like apple removing charger. Any document we could use to request them to provide keyfob?

Thank you so much folks! Could you guys explain a little more about early VIN story? It sounds like they start have some inventory and they are trying to get rid of them and the build quality might be questionable.

My seven seat model X order was ready last week but somehow we are not fully ready so I let it go. I wonder anyone has gone through similar experience before. If I click "I'm ready" now, will I simply go back to the line again or will I have any priority? Thanks!

My experience is pretty similar with other owners, Model X doesn't burn gas, but burn rubber tire much faster. I have replaced two sets of tires after owning my X for 4+ years.

Thanks for the suggestions. I used to get the keyfob low battery warning. After battery replacement, the ghost opening starts happening more frequently. I guess the keyfob now feels it's being supercharged.

2016 Model X These days some door randomly opens, most likely it's caused by the keyfob Car is out of warranty now. Anyone has done out of warranty keyfob replacement before?
