It’s based on the sale price of the car. It doesn’t matter what you put down. If the price of your car $56k, then you’re taxed on $56k ( less destination fee)

i got a vin (black/aero configured 2/22) wed morning before 8am. ISA hasnt called me yet. i called tesla and asked to have the ISA call me. im picking up in fremont, and i just want to get a delivery slot before it all gets filled up.

VINs for whites have been trickling for a few a week or so. I’m down to chip in and pay for some of Tesla’s black paint because it seems like they’ve ran out for a while. this is getting ridiculous. What is it, 1or 2 black vins the past 2 weeks?
