Can someone clear this up for me— If the wire I had wasn’t in Romex and was in MC to would be fine? The wire insulation is good to 90c, the romex sheath is the limiter at 60c which bumps down the amperage allowance in this case to 55a compared to 75a in MC?

Thank you, I thought I provided enough context in my original request "New Work Box, In wall." but I ended up finding what I needed anyway. I also had a heck of a time trying to use the forum search to find it. Anyway, found it now, ordered and on the way to Level 2.
