Elon Musk: “Drivers will be able to sleep at the wheel by end 2020”

His statement isn’t that far from the truth since you can actually sleep behind the wheel using NOAP now on the highway. The question is how long can you sleep behind the wheel. NOAP will take you 6 ft under if you let it take a curved ramp exit! Lol

    2019.36.x

I had the same experience. 36.1 is solid

    2019.36.x

Lane changing is much smoother and more assertive. I tried it with Standard and Mad Max. I prefer mad max because it feels more aggressive and less hesitant during lane changes. Moving in and out of traffic was better than before as well. It knows to take the passing lane to pass a car ahead...

    2019.36.x

You will definitely have a nice trip with NOAP. I experienced maybe once or twice if the phantom braking but not as hard as before. The car slowed down when it approached a bridge but wasn’t as hash as before. Hopefully the update will come soon for everyone.

    2019.36.x

It’s much better on NOAP. I stopped using it prior to 36.1 but the latest update is giving me the confidence to use it every time now.

    Nope, it's not ready

I had the free 30 days trial of FSD at purchase and at that time running on V9.0 software. I stopped using NOA because it was honestly unsafe and more stressful to drive on freeway. After the trial period I decided not to purchase and wait for the software improvement to justify FSD. V10.0 was...

Have you tried AP on city street?

    Nope, it's not ready

I agree with you, VM.One. For the most part it is good both highway and city but not safe enough in city YET with the current software. Folks on here are tell others to read the manual. I’m only sharing a few experiences of city driving with the most current software and hardware from tesla and...

    Nope, it's not ready

My point is with the most CURRENT Tesla software and hardware the car is not safe for in city AP. Hopefully city driving software update by end of this year will be safe. Read my post Once again. You haven’t once tried AP in city streets and only used AP on highways? If true, you must be very...

    Nope, it's not ready

Did you read my post? The current software isn’t ready for city driving. Tesla indicated on their website that city driving is coming at the end of this year for those with FSD. I paid $6K for the upgrade and hope that their update will be safe for city driving as the current isn’t.

    Nope, it's not ready

I have a 2019 MX Raven HW3,AP,and FSD. The OP’s description is spot on and the current software is not safe for AP city driving. I’ve tried many times using AP on city roads and had to take over numerous times as well as pressing on my gas pedal due to sudden decrease in speed. The NOA is also...

Help me decide if I buy FSD this weekend, or not! ONCE AND FOR ALL.

I hope you’re right but everything seems to point to higher price for FSD. I believe once they get the stop sign and lights in city streets we’ll see the price bump. That would be a game changer in my opinion.

Help me decide if I buy FSD this weekend, or not! ONCE AND FOR ALL.

I bought my Model X Raven 4 Months ago without FSD and was on the fence about the $6000 upgrade. I pulled the trigger today for the following reasons: 1. Tesla V10 improvements with AP and other features(summon, entertainment) 2. Upgrade Price May go up soon 3. $6000 sitting in bank account...
