Over the last few months I’ve noticed a mechanical sort of “jiggling” noise with my 2020 LR MY. It’s coming from the front of the car, below the dashboard, down low — kinda by the pedal box. It’s not loud and it’s easily obscured by music playing on the sound system, but if the car is otherwise...

I’ll note that overcharging has not happened to me for the entire year I’ve had my MY (up until the last month or so), weather changes and all. Plus it’s been getting much colder at night where I live and park my car. So I feel pretty confident this is related.

I have 2021.32.22 and it’s still happening to my 2020 LR Y. I charge on a plain-old 110V outlet (since I don’t drive it much). I usually have my limit at 90% and I end up with 92-93% when I come back to it, so I’m lowering it to 85%.

Drove by and saw a Tesla plugged into the ChargePoint right next to it, so I think it’s safe to assume it’s still not ready yet (it doesn’t show up on my dashboard as a Supercharger yet). Feels like they’ll be turning it on any moment now.

I noticed the chain link fence came down the other night and a truck with a trailer was just parked cross-wise blocking the stalls. I'm thinking maybe these are really close to being open? Does anybody know?

Wouldn't be me! I have a white Model Y. I think there's a relatively new owner of a white 3 around these parts, though.

This is what I'd like to know! After reading a good chunk of this thread, I definitely have a greater sympathy for engineers trying to make sure an adapter works well enough to release. Had no idea these adapters had to take part in the handshaking process between car and charger.

Hey folks! I got my Tesla Model Y back in September after test driving one over Labor Day weekend (and after my brother rolled into town in his new Model X). Been super happy with it so far, enough to get me to seek out some online communities to geek out with. Hope to see you around!
