Right, and that subset of "In the Know" people aka, this forum thread and other niche groups are the very very small minority.

As of this writing, looks like their "tactics" worked, lots of sales even though its thousands more. Doubt they go any lower til MAYBE end of quarter (june)..... While we are educated on their pricing tactics, we are the minority. The Majority now think this is the lowest price ever, per media...

Looks like discounts retracted back to the 4-6% range.

Aren't they just going to limit Model Y production and increase Model 3? Aren't they smart enough and have enough data just like we do to say, ok convert the Y lines into 3 lines? I don't know why the mentality here is they are just going to continue producing without any care for sitting...

Ahh understood. I thought you qualified for some such as the Free Color Upgrade, CT Incentive, etc... Then yes it seems your thought process is correct, price will be locked upon deposit.

To echo Ostrichsak , Don't miss out on the Tesla incentives, they all expire and require delivery not deposit by the 31st.....

No he says he hasn't heard any more, so I decided to lock in at -10% discount, but now the last minute in me wants to delay payment obvioulsy until the final second in the event of a surprise cut I would gladly forego the $250 and place a new order.

Funny enough this order I have, has changed VIN's twice, so I've been assigned 3 different VINs on 1 order.

No, he says he isn't anywhere of any more, however, I want to know my options incase he was wrong and it drops more... I will lose my $250 and re-order no problem. I just wanted to lock in my -10% off just incase. $250 is a small price to pay for price-lock.
