This happened to me too and while I was able to recover the mud flap, the connectors were lost. Does anyone know where I can find the connectors?

Lady thought she put it in park but only got it into neutral. I'm guessing it was up against the Honda in front of it and when the Honda left, it left it free to roll into my Model Y. I put in a claim with her insurance. Hope it doesn't take weeks to get fixed.

I'm very tempted to not put them on at all. If I get pulled over, I could just show them to the officer and hope to just get a fix it ticket.

I didn't do any paint correction or polishing. But I got the car in October and couldn't see any swirl marks or scratches. I wash it on my own using foam cannon and minimal touching with a microfiber mitt. But my car is also white which hides most everything anyway.

Got mine installed too. Very easy. Definitely looks like dirt and debris can get caught between the flaps and the wheel well. I guess we'll see over time.
